According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of juvenile offenses in the 200 block of Chestnut Street at 1:22 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate a student ran out the door of Tri-Academy during class and ran down the street.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 1600 block of Meadowlark Lane at 1:21 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a hit-skip driver that occurred on Grove Street at 12:12 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate a vehicle was parking in the driveway behind their residence. The hit-skip driver reportedly struck that vehicle while it was parked, sometime between 8 p.m. Thursday and midnight Friday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Adrienne Renee Woodring, 33, of Sassafras Court and Katherine I. Swigert, 30, of Sycamore Drive that occurred on Delaware Avenue at 12:29 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate Woodring was traveling westbound on Delaware Avenue, while Swigert was driving behind her. Swigert reportedly struck the rear of Woodring’s vehicle. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. Swigert was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Carl Hilton Kus, 56, of Baltimore, Maryland and Gautam Bagchi, 42, of Columbus that occurred on U.S. 33 at Route 31 at 4:39 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate Kus struck the rear of Bagchi’s vehicle while he was stopped in traffic. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. Kus was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a hit-skip driver that occurred on Columbus Avenue at 1:14 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate a vehicle was leaving Dairy Queen on Columbus Avenue and attempting to make a left turn to turn onto Columbus Avenue, but struck a fence and left the scene without stopping.
Betty J. Giles, 56, of Village Drive was cited for driving while under the influence and failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead on Northwoods Drive at 4:54 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate the citations stemmed from an incident in which police responded to the scene of an accident involving Giles and Joshua Kye Noe, 18, of Bent Tree Lane that occurred on U.S. 31 at Northwoods Drive at 4:15 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate Giles struck the rear of Noe’s vehicle while he was stopped at a stop light. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries.
Jermaine Jeffrey Magee, 47, of West Third Street was cited for driving without complying with license reinstatement requirements in the 300 block of West Third Street at 4:54 a.m. Saturday.
Jamie Lee Harrington, 26, of West Third Street was cited for no operator’s license in the 600 block of West Fourth Street at 4:58 p.m. Saturday.
Shania Justice Ann Jackson, 24, of Cottonwood Drive was cited for domestic violence in the 100 block of Cottonwood Drive at 6:14 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from an incident in which MPD responded to a residence following a 911 hang-up.
Police responded to a mental health issue in the 100 block of Bridgewater Drive at 12:41 p.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of identity theft in the 400 block of Morning Star Drive at 5:16 p.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of telephone harassment in the 2200 block of Trophy Drive at 7:28 p.m. Saturday.
Joseph Mills, 26, of West Third Street was cited for assault in the 100 block of North Main Street at 3:52 a.m. Sunday. Reports indicate Mills “punched the victim in the face, causing the victim to go unconscious and have a gash in his upper lip.”
Paul Lewis Miller, 50, of Cypress Drive was cited for disorderly conduct (intoxicated annoyance or alarm) in the 100 block of Cottonwood Drive at 7:42 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from an incident in which MPD was dispatched in reference to a medical complaint.
Police responded to a report of theft from a motor vehicle in the 700 block of Deer Run Drive at 10:04 a.m. Sunday. The reporting person advised MPD that items were stolen from his unlocked vehicle.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Marshall Kevin Nipper, 58, of Middletown that occurred on Millcreek Drive at 10:05 a.m. Sunday. Reports indicate Nipper was towing a semi-trailer. While backing into the loading area at 320 Millcreek Drive, Nipper backed over a utility box. No citations are listed in the incident report.
