According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of an open liquor container on W. Fourth Street at 4:44 a.m. Friday. The reporting person indicated he believed a male “passed out” behind the steering wheel of a vehicle.
Police responded to a report of identity theft in the 700 block of Chestnut Street at 4:27 p.m. Friday. The reporting person indicated her personal information was used to open a bank account.
Police responded to assist another agency in the 600 block of Allenby Drive at 10:33 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate MPD was called in reference to a driver “that could not maintain its lanes.”
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Sara Elizabeth Nicol, 19, of Plain City and Brande B. Vollrath, 46, of Milford Center that occurred on Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 8:24 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate Nicol was stopped at a stop sign, facing east, waiting to make a right turn onto Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. Vollrath was reportedly following Nicol. Nicol started to make the right turn to head south on Coleman’s Crossing Blvd., but another vehicle came and forced her to stop. Vollrath then struck Nicol from behind. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. Vollrath was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Richard Thomas Schwind, 58, of Mulberry Street was cited for open burning in a restricted area in the 200 block of Mulberry Street at 10:51 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from an April 8 incident in which MPD and MFD responded to a nuisance burn.
Police responded to a report of aggravated assault and fleeing and eluding in the 100 block of N. Main Street at 2:01 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate MPD was called to Stephen’s Lounge following an assault.
Police responded to a report of rape at an unlisted location at 6:05 p.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a mental health issue at an unlisted location at 9:22 p.m. Saturday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a juvenile and Randall Beil, 54, of Dublin that occurred on U.S. 33 at 6:15 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate the juvenile driver was in the left lane of U.S. 33 westbound, negotiating a curve. Beil was in the right lane and negotiating the same curve when the juvenile driver left his lane and struck the side of Beil’s vehicle. Both vehicles ran off the road and into the median. Beil’s vehicle rolled once. Beil experienced suspected minor injuries and was treated at the scene by the Marysville Division of Fire. The juvenile driver did not experience any apparent injuries. The juvenile driver was cited for not driving in marked lanes.
Police responded to a report of juvenile offenses in the 800 block of Catalpa Place at 11:39 a.m. Sunday. The reporting person indicated his son left his grandmother’s house following an argument and had not yet returned.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Cole Robert Hosterman, 20, of Cole Ridge Blvd. and Stephanie Nicole Marshall, 20, of Watermill Place that occurred on Watermill Place at 6:40 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate Hosterman was traveling eastbound on Watermill Place near a residence. Marshall backed out of the driveway at that location and made contact with Hosterman’s vehicle. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. No citations were listed at the time of the incident.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Lamont R. Walton, 36, of Whitehall on an outstanding arrest warrant at 1:03 a.m. Friday. The male was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate a shooting complaint at 1:52 p.m. Friday.
Deputies responded to Industrial Parkway near Old Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2021 Chevrolet Malibu that struck a 2017 GMC Sierra at 2:24 p.m. Friday. The driver of the Chevrolet, Aaron A. Willis, 33, of Columbus was issued a traffic citation for driving under suspension.
Deputies and units from the Dublin Police Department, Plain City Police Department and Jerome Township Fire Department responded to an address in the 9000 block of Tartan Fields Drive on a report of a person attempting self-harm at 2:50 p.m. Friday. One patient was transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
As a result of a property damage crash that occurred on Greenfield Drive in Milford Center, deputies arrested Abigail M. Hurban, 34, of Milford Center at 5:49 p.m. Friday. She was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence and failure to control for striking a mailbox. The female was transported to the Sheriff’s Office and released to a responsible party.
As a result of a driving complaint on U.S. 33 near the westbound rest area, a traffic stop was conducted on U.S. 36 and Allenby Drive in Marysville at 10:29 p.m. Friday. Deputies arrested Annatial U. Darks, 21, of Columbus and charged her with operating a vehicle while under the influence and failure to comply. The female was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy met with an officer from the Delaware City Police Department to take custody of Tristan T. Aller, 22, of Ostrander for an outstanding arrest warrant at 11:42 p.m. Friday. The male was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Marysville Fire Department with an injury crash involving a 1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo that struck a residence in the 13000 block of U.S. 36 at 1:18 a.m. Saturday. The driver, Bryan K. Allegree, 50, of Ostrander fled the scene. He was later located in a residence and apprehended with the assistance of the Union County K-9 Unit. The State Patrol handled the crash.
Deputies and units from the Richwood Police Department responded to a residence in the 11000 block of Route 47 to assist with a mental health crisis at 1:52 a.m. Saturday. The individual was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 31000 block of Route 31 to investigate a report of an unsupervised juvenile near the roadway at 8:24 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy was dispatched to the area of Ravenhill Parkway and Smoketree Drive to investigate a report of subjects camping in the area at 9:51 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy responded to a business in the 7000 block of Rickard Road to investigate a theft of a catalytic converter at 10:42 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy assisted the Richwood Police Department with a vehicle that was failing to stop for a traffic violation at 10:57 a.m. Saturday. The driver of the vehicle eventually stopped and no report was taken.
A deputy was dispatched to West Central Correctional Facility in the 18000 block of Route 4 to take custody of Dustin Tyler Waddell, 24, of Richwood on a probation violation at 12:40 p.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies responded to a residence in the 20000 block of Route 347 to investigate a trespassing complaint at 2:49 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 26000 block of Route 4 to investigate a dispute between a male and female at 9:01 p.m. Saturday.
As a result of an overdose on North Avenue in Plain City, deputies arrested Derick E. Long, 31, of Woodstock on an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:54 a.m. Sunday. The male was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 20000 block of Route 347 to investigate a trespassing complaint at 1:09 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy investigated a domestic dispute between a girlfriend and boyfriend that occurred at a residence in the 18000 block of Route 347 at 2:01 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 27000 block of Route 739 to investigate a domestic dispute between sisters at 2:07 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 21000 block of Route 245 for a trespassing complaint involving subjects riding ATVs on a property without the owner’s permission at 7:35 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 17000 block of Paver Barnes Road to investigate an identity theft complaint involving the theft of personal information to gain access to a bank account at 7:40 p.m. Sunday.
A Union County deputy met with a Franklin County deputy to take custody of Timothy A. Eaton, Jr., 23, of Columbus on an outstanding arrest warrant at 9:06 p.m. Sunday. The male was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on May Street in Magnetic Springs to investigate a domestic dispute between family members at 10:30 p.m. Sunday. The parties were separated for the evening.
