According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of theft in the 1000 block of Coleman’s Crossing at 7:07 a.m. Monday. Reports indicate tools were taken from a construction trailer over the weekend.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 300 block of Riverwind Drive at 9:37 a.m. Monday. Reports indicate the reporting person “found a plastic box in the dumpster containing what he thought were real guns. Upon further inspection, they were air soft pellet guns.” They were taken by MPD to be destroyed.
Police responded to a report of identity theft in the 1200 block of West Fifth Street at 2 p.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of assault in the 500 block of Dove Street at 1:46 p.m. Monday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy investigated a property damage crash that occurred in the 18000 block of Raymond Road involving a 2003 Toyota Highlander that struck a deer at 6:48 a.m. Monday.
Deputies and units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Union Township Fire Department and the Marysville Fire Department responded to the 13000 block of Route 4 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo that drove off the road, struck a mailbox and came to rest in a ditch at 9:42 a.m. Monday. The driver, Shane E. Allen, 42, of South Charleston attempted to flee the scene on foot but was apprehended by deputies and troopers. He was transported to Memorial Hospital and has been charged with failure to control, obstructing official business, resisting arrest and operating a vehicle while under the influence.
Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire District responded to the 22000 block of Route 31 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pulling a trailer that drove off the road and into a ditch at 2:11 p.m. Monday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 12000 block of Kaiser Road to check on a person who was threatening self-harm at 4:22 p.m. Monday. The person was transported to Maryhaven by a family member.
