Police responded to a report of theft in the 200 block of N. Court Street at 6:12 p.m. Tuesday. The reporting person indicated his PlayStation 4 and games were stolen.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to U.S. 33 near Paver Barnes Road for a possible property damage crash involving a 2005 Toyota Scion XB that drove off the road and into a ditch at 12:14 p.m. Tuesday. One person was transported to Memorial Hospital for a medical condition.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to investigate a tampering with evidence complaint at 12:54 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 26000 block of Route 4 to investigate the theft of a bird bath at 3:31 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 22000 block of Route 245 for an unruly juvenile complaint at 4:11 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies were dispatched to a property in the 13000 block of U.S. 42 to investigate the break-in of a pole barn and a camper where an engine, a grill, metal shelves, a fire extinguisher and a flag were stolen at 4:12 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 21000 block of Route 245 for a domestic dispute between two brothers over a cell phone and a pet snake at 7:41 p.m. Tuesday.
As a result of a traffic stop in the 18000 block of Route 4, a deputy charged Jacob R. Johnson, 26, of West Jefferson with possession of drug abuse instruments at 12:34 a.m. Monday.
As a result of a traffic stop on U.S. 33 near Brock Road, a deputy arrested Scott D. Goscinski, 29, of Reynoldsburg for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:40 a.m. Monday. He was transported to the Marysville Police Department and released after posting a bond.
A deputy went to the Noble Correctional Institute to take custody of Tyler R. Russell, 27, of Coshocton for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:40 a.m. Monday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Norther Union County Fire and EMS District were dispatched to a residence in the 25000 block of Kinney Pike for a person threatening self-harm at 11:12 a.m. Monday. The person was transported to Maryhaven.
A deputy met with a resident from the 11000 block of Route 736 to take possession of a computer tablet that was found in a yard at 12:06 p.m. Monday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to the intersection of Tartan Fields Drive and MacNeil Drive for an injury crash involving a 2018 Honda CR-V that struck a 2020 Tesla at 12:16 p.m. Monday. The driver of the Honda, Maria Ristev, 67, of Dublin was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield at a stop sign.
A deputy was sent to the West Central Community Correctional Facility in the 18000 block of Route 4 to take custody of Jason B. Frock, 37, of Springfield for a parole violation at 1:31 p.m. Monday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 9000 block of Route 4 to investigate the theft of a guitar at 2:09 p.m. Monday.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 7000 block of Route 161 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2011 Dodge Ram that struck a sign at 3:47 p.m. Monday.
Deputies and units from the Leesburg Township Fire Department were sent to a residence on Main Street in Magnetic Springs for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 3:54 p.m. Monday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
Deputies and troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a campground in the 20000 block of Route 347 for a domestic dispute between grandparents and a grandson at 4:41 p.m. Monday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 8500 block of Avalon Lane to investigate identity theft involving a fraudulent unemployment claim at 5:47 p.m. Monday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 for an unruly juvenile at 5:54 p.m. Monday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 7000 block of Weldon Road for a person threatening self-harm at 8:09 p.m. Monday. The person was transported to Maryhaven.
Deputies were sent to a business in the 19000 block of Orchard Road to check an abandoned vehicle at 8:45 p.m. Monday. After further investigation, the vehicle, a 2018 Subaru Impreza WRX, was determined to be stolen from a car dealership in Marysville.
As a result of a traffic stop on North Cherry Street in Marysville, a deputy charged Justin M. Wampler, 27, of Raymond with possession of drug abuse instruments at 11:33 p.m. Monday.
