According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Brandon Huff, 27, of W. Seventh Street was arrested for burglary (trespassing in an occupied structure) in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 2:52 a.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate Huff kicked in the door of an apartment in the 400 block of Windmil Drive when there were multiple occupants inside, including children. The door struck a three-year-old when he kicked it in.
Jacob David Leamman, 20, of Milford Center was arrested for contributing to the unruliness/delinquency of a child in the 1800 block of Creekview Drive at 1:32 a.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate Leamman was caught with a 14-year-old female whom he provided and smoked marijuana with, as well as a vape pen containing nicotine. The arrest stemmed from an suspicious vehicle incident at 12:04 a.m. Tuesday in which Leamman and the female were found smoking marijuana inside his vehicle while parked at Mill Valley Central Park.
Police responded to a report of identity theft in the 500 block of Restoration Drive at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday. The complainant indicated someone attempted to open accounts in his name at different businesses, once in March and once in April.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 6700 block of Weldon Road for a domestic dispute between several family members at 12:49 a.m. Tuesday. As a result of the investigation, David C. Wagner, 54, of Plain City was arrested for domestic violence. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy met with a resident from the 10000 block of Maple Dell Road to investigate a trespassing complaint at 12:29 a.m. Tuesday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 10000 block of Route 4 to investigate a dispute between several family members at 1:16 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate a missing juvenile at 3:43 p.m. Tuesday.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers responded to assist Derek Covington, 59, of Bellefontaine after he struck a deer on U.S. 33 eastbound near mile post 21 at 6:24 a.m. Tuesday. He did not experience any injuries and no citations were issued.
A trooper helped deliver meals for “Meals on Wheels” in Logan and Champaign counties at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The Post Commander participated in the funeral procession for Bellefontaine Police Department Officer Craig Comstock at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
