Nima Dorje Tamang, 34, of Columbus was cited for theft in the 15000 block of U.S. 36 at 2:31 p.m. Wednesday.
Lalit Sarki, 24, of Reynoldsburg was cited for theft in the 15000 block of U.S. 36 at 4:31 p.m. Wednesday.
Jennifer Noel Skidmore, 47, of Marysville was cited for driving while under the influence in the 100 block of N. Court Street at 9:07 p.m. Wednesday.
Donald S. Moshos, 73, of U.S. 36 was cited for driving under OVI or ALS suspension in the 17000 block of Route 31 at 7:55 p.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of identity theft at an unlisted location at 10:43 a.m. Wednesday. The reporting person indicated his employer received unemployment benefit paperwork under his name, though he did not file for unemployment.
Police responded to a report of menacing in the 300 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 2:53 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate a customer at Tire Discounters was “not happy with his services and made a threatening comment.”
Police responded to a report of identity theft in the 1400 block of Collins Avenue at 7:19 p.m. Wednesday. The reporting person indicated her employer received a notification that someone filed for unemployment benefits using her personal information.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy took custody of Jai W. Walley, 37, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at the Union County Courthouse at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday. He was released on bond.
As a result of a traffic stop on Corporate Boulevard near Industrial Parkway, deputies arrested Marsha K. Backora, 59, of Delaware for an outstanding arrest warrant from Madison County at 11:28 a.m. Wednesday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A Union County deputy met with a Marion County deputy to take custody of John P. Farmer, 39, of Sunbury for an outstanding arrest warrant at 12:29 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy met with a resident from the 30000 block of Osborne Road to investigate identity theft involving several fraudulent accounts that were opened at 2:22 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash involving a 2020 Subaru Impreza that was struck by an unknown vehicle near the intersection of Route 161 and Cosgray Road at 3:17 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 8600 block of Watkins Road to investigate a dispute between a property owner and a landscaping company at 4:37 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 14000 block of Route 739 to investigate a dispute involving several juveniles that occurred on a school bus at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday.
