According to police reports:
About 5:08 p.m., Thursday, Police responded to the 1200 block of Village Drive to investigate the alleged violation of a protection order.
Police investigated an allegation of criminal trespassing in the 157000 block of U.S. 36 at 7:10 p.m.
Police were called to 800 block of Southwood Drive at 10:29 p.m., Thursday, to investigate suspicious conditions.
According to sheriff’s reports:
A deputy and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District responded to state Route 4, near Hoskins Road about 12:22 a.m., Thursday, to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Ford Explorer that drove off the road and into a ditch.
A deputy met with a business owner from the 18000 block of Miller Road at 1:58 p.m., Thursday, to investigate a fraudulently obtained loan.
Deputies were sent to the Adult Probation Office on state Route 4 about 5:41 p.m. The deputies investigated an allegation of obstruction involving a person on probation that allegedly removed an ankle monitor.
A deputy responded to Whitestone Road, near Black Road, at 9:12 p.m., to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2017 Honda CR-V that struck a deer.
About 9:56 p.m., Thursday, a deputy was sent to the 11000 block of Santa Barbara Drive on a report of an unruly juvenile.
