According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Jason E. Maynard, 45, of Van Kirk Drive was cited for domestic violence in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 11:07 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate MPD issued a warrant for his arrest following an incident in the 900 block of Van Kirk Drive in which a female reported being assaulted by Maynard.
Police responded to a report of endangering children in the 400 block of Black Hawk Drive at 1:44 p.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 700 block of Collins Avenue at 2:27 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate MPD responded in response to theft of medication.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 200 block of Prairie Drive at 3:26 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate a purse was found on Fifth Street.
Police responded to a report of a dispute in the 900 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 6:34 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate loss prevention officers at Meijer reported that two customers were in the store and got into a verbal confrontation with a cashier.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Officer to take custody of William P. Deem Jr., 47, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 4:31 a.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy spoke with a resident from the 14000 block of Weaver Road to investigate two fraudulent checks that were drawn on the victim’s bank account at 1:32 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies assisted the Marysville Police Department searching for a missing child on Black Hawk Drive at 1:44 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy and units from the Liberty Township Fire Department responded to a residence in the 19000 block of Route 47 for an unresponsive person at 4:48 p.m. Thursday. The person was pronounced deceased and the Union County Coroner was called to the scene.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers relayed masks to Battelle for Mary Rutan Hospital at 9 a.m. Thursday.
Troopers helped deliver meals for Meals on Wheels in Logan and Champaign counties at 10 a.m. Thursday.
Troopers assisted MPD in attempting to locate a thief who stole from Wal-Mart at 3:19 p.m. Thursday.
