According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Alarik Petri Madigan, 18, of Grove Court was arrested for breaking and entering (with the purpose of committing theft) in the 100 block of N. Main Street at 6:51 a.m. Monday. Reports indicate Madigan was caught in the act of breaking into Union Electronics. At this business, he broke three windows valued at $500 each and a second floor window valued at $1,800. He was also charged in connection with breaking and entering into Crooked Door Studios earlier that morning, at 5:30 a.m.
Monica Mangini, 22, of Sorenson Drive was cited for abusing harmful intoxicants in the 900 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 2:12 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from an incident in which Mangini was reported for abusing inhalants at Meijer.
Police responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 300 block of E. Fifth Street at 2:33 a.m. Monday. A reporting person stated there was a suspicious person in the bathroom at Village Pantry.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 18000 block of Raymond Road at 6:45 a.m. Monday. Reports indicate a 2016 Clubcar and Acer computer hard drive was located at the Marysville Reservoir at 18375 Raymond Road. The items were found to be stolen from a residence in the 18000 block of Mill Road. The scene was turned over the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
Police responded to a report of theft by deception in the 500 block of Fourth Street in Unionville Center at 11:09 a.m. Monday. The reporting person advised that she was contacted by an individual who told her that her equity line of credit had been sold to his company and he needed personal information from her.
Police responded to a report of identity theft in the 18000 block of Boerger Road at 3:59 a.m. Monday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies were sent to a residence on Commercial Street in Milford Center to investigate an unruly juvenile who took a family vehicle without permission at 1:12 a.m. Monday.
A deputy and units from the Marysville Police Department were sent to the City Reservoir in the 17000 block of Raymond Road to check a golf cart that had been abandoned near a boat ramp at 7:44 a.m. Monday. After further investigation, it was learned the golf cart had been stolen from a property in the 18000 block of Mill Road.
Deputies assisted the Marysville Police Department searching the area of Route 31 and Mill Road for a vehicle involved in a hit-skip property damage crash at 12:25 p.m. Monday.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 11000 block of U.S. 42 to investigate damage to the windshield of a 2019 Toyota Tacoma at 3:08 p.m. Monday.
Deputies and units from the Liberty Township Fire Department responded to the 21000 block of Davis Road for a property damage crash involving a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser that lost control and rolled over at 6:20 p.m. Monday. The driver, Claudia Herlinda, 37 of New Bloomington was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
Deputies were sent to a property in the 14000 block of Bellepointe Road to investigate a trespassing complaint involving several all-terrain vehicles at 8:04 p.m. Monday.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
The OSHP issued a correction to a report that was issued yesterday: Troopers responded to the scene of an injury crash at Route 245 and Route 57 involving Jo Linhart, 58, at 5:25 p.m. Sunday. Linhart struck a stop sign and a street sign and was cited for failure to control. The initial report incorrectly indicated James Morrison, 57, of Lima was cited for failure to control.
