According to Plain City Police Department reports:
Police responded to Bickham Activity Center on Allgyer Drive at 11:22 p.m. April 22 in reference to an open door.
An officer was dispatched to Carriage Drive at 6:48 p.m. April 22 in reference to a hit-skip accident. While speaking with the complainant, San Sophal approached and advised that she was the one who backed into the complainant’s vehicle. Sophal stated she attempted to make contact but was unsuccessful. She was issued a citation for starting and backing.
An officer was on a traffic stop on Route 161 east of the village limits at 4:29 p.m. when they were flagged down by a passerby. The passerby advised that a head-on injury crash had occurred near Holmes Lumber. Once Ohio State Highway Patrol Post 49 personnel arrived on scene, the officer returned to patrol.
An officer was dispatched to Wellsley Way at 11:10 a.m. April 22 in reference to a behavioral health issue. Upon speaking with the subject, they agreed to be transported to the hospital.
Police responded to an open door at a vacant building on Village Blvd. at 1:33 a.m. April 22.
Police responded to an open door at U Will Dance on North Chillicothe Street at 12:24 a.m. April 22.
An officer responded to Gay Street at 12:14 p.m. April 21 in reference to a tree falling on a vehicle. The complainant was advised to contact his vehicle insurance to advise them of the incident.
Police responded to an open door on Pioneer Roofing on Maple Street at 11:30 p.m. April 20.
An officer responded to Central Avenue at 6:10 p.m. April 20 in reference to a domestic dispute. The officer confirmed with all parties that there was “nothing physical” involved in the situation. The officer advised the caller not to contact the subject for the rest of the night.
An officer initiated a traffic stop on Route 161 at 9:25 p.m. and made contact with the vehicle driver, Tabitha Smith, and her front seat driver, Adam Kaetzel. Kaetzel was issued a criminal summons for drug abuse instruments. Smith was issued a traffic citation for no valid operator’s license, court suspension, FRA suspension and no taillights. The vehicle was towed to the PCPD impound lot.
Officers responded to a suicide threat on North Avenue at 12:49 p.m. April 19. The subject advised the threat was made the day before and “everything has calmed down since then.” The subject did not show any signs of or plans for self-harm. The subject advised he would have his mother take him to talk to someone once she was home from work.
Officers responded to a solicitor without a permit on Cooper Lane at 1:04 p.m. April 19. Upon arrival, officers learned Ronald Reveal was going door-to-door for TruGreen Lawn Care. He was charged with soliciting without a permit.
An officer responded to Church Street at 1:59 p.m. April 19 in reference to a 911 unknown. Due to the circumstances, the officer requested a medic to have the subject evaluated. Upon arrival, the subject declined all medical services. The caller stated that she would be staying with the subject and that she would call if there were any further issues.
