Officers responded to a vehicle parked after hours at Daily Needs Assistance on West Main Street at 1:36 a.m. April 25. Contact was made with a keyholder, who advised no one should be on the property. Officers made contact with the driver and advised him he couldn’t be on the property. Once the vehicle left the property, officers returned to patrol.
An officer responded to an alarm drop at ER Autocare on South Jefferson Avenue at 6:23 p.m. April 25. The exterior of the business was secured and officers determined nothing was out of the ordinary. A keyholder was contacted and stated they would respond to the location.
An officer responded to an alarm drop at Miller’s Furniture on South Jefferson Avenue at 8:17 p.m. April 25. The officer found a garage door unsecured. A keyholder was contacted and requested the door be secured. Once the officer secured the door, he returned to patrol.
An officer responded to a complaint of juveniles playing near the road on Plain City-Georgesville Road at 8:17 p.m. April 25. Contact was made with the juveniles and their parents, who were advised of the dangers of playing near the road.
An officer responded to assist an employee at Domino’s Pizza on West Main Street with securing the location at 9 p.m. April 25.
An officer responded to a suspicious vehicle at Bindery and Pressworks on West Bigelow Avenue at 1:24 a.m. April 24. After making contact with the driver, the officer deemed everything to be fine.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious dark colored van driving around a residence on South Chillicothe Street at 5:31 a.m. April 24. Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.
An officer responded to a driving complaint on Route 161 east at 10:56 a.m. April 24. The vehicle was located and the driver, Lydia Odei-Ntim, 59, of Columbus was issued a citation for driving upon a street as posted as closed for repair.
An officer responded to a parking complaint on Warbler Lane at 4:30 p.m. April 24. Contact was made with the owner and the vehicle was moved.
An officer responded to Lantern Lane at 5:36 p.m. April 24 for a parking complaint. The officer determined there was no violation.
An officer responded to Pastime Park on North Chillicothe Street at 5:47 p.m. April 24 for a report of a complaint. The caller advised that while her vehicle was parked, her cell phone was taken from her car.
Officers responded to a domestic dispute on Warbler Lane at 12:30 a.m. April 23. The parties agreed to stay calm and separated for the evening.
An officer observed a tractor trailer parked on East Main Street at East Bigelow Avenue with its hazards on at 1:17 a.m. April 23. Contact was made with the driver, who advised he needed assistance with turning around. The officer assisted with traffic control and the driver was issued a warning.

The caller advised an individual was at the residence stating they were from a government entity but couldn’t provide proper identification. The individual left, and the caller asked that the incident be documented. An incident report was taken.

An officer responded to a complaint of a utility truck being parked on private property on Maple Street at 8:19 a.m. April 20. The area where the truck was parked is within the right of way for utilities and the vehicle was allowed to access that area.
A silver key was found in the 400 block of Carriage Drive at 9:10 a.m. April 20 and turned into the police Department.
An officer responded to South Chillicothe Street at 1:51 p.m. for a parking complaint involving a utility truck parked partially in the right of way. The company was conducting utility work in the area and was within their rights to be in the right of way.
An officer responded to a complaint of a dog bite on East First Avenue at 2:06 p.m. April 20. The incident reportedly happened the day prior. The caller advised he was bitten by his own dog and sought treatment. The caller was advised to contact the health department or the dog warden if incidents continued.
An officer responded to a complaint of a driveway being spray painted on Murlay Drive at 4:33 p.m. April 20. The officer advised the spray paint was to mark the utility line that runs under the driveway and that the paint was washable.

An office responded to a complaint of vandalism on East Main Street at 7:03 p.m. April 20. The caller advised his lawn was damaged by construction being done. The company stated the damage would be fixed.
An officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on Rickard Road at 8:26 p.m. April 20 for failing to yield to oncoming traffic. During the stop, the officer was advised that the registration was expired. The subject was given a warning for failure to yield and expired tags.
