According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Kevin Brock Galloway, 39, of Arlington, Jenna Cherie Carpenter, 31, of Columbus and Andy William Mauch, 40, of Dublin on Route 31 at 1:53 p.m. April 24. Reports indicate Galloway was driving a semi-trailer and taking the exit northbound on Route 31 from eastbound of U.S. 33. Galloway’s trailer snagged an overhanging utility line, which tugged on a utility pole. The pulled lines caused the pole to lean toward Route 31. The line fell on Carpenter’s and Mauch’s vehicles, who were both following Galloway. Reports indicate no drivers experienced any apparent injuries, but all were checked by Marysville Division of Fire and EMS at the scene. No citations were issued as a result of the incident.
Jason E. Maynard, 45, of Van Kirk Drive was taken into custody for an outstanding arrest warrant at 12:37 p.m. Thursday. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Jordan Alan Snyder, 27, of Westerville was cited for theft in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 7:44 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from an earlier report of theft at Wal-Mart.
Police responded to a report of drug abuse and illegal possession of drug paraphernalia in the 16000 block of Square Drive at 7:03 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate an employee at Marathon reported a female passed out in a red car in front of the business. She was later found with a glass pipe and a plastic bag filled with a substance believed to be fentanyl.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 9500 block of Woodbine Way to investigate a forged check at 6:38 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy met with an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper to take custody of Adam P. Reed, 36, of Lima for an outstanding arrest warrant at 9:21 a.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on North Main Street in Magnetic Springs for a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at 10:50 a.m. Thursday. As a result of the investigation, Richard Pagan Jr., 29, of Magnetic Springs was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash involving a 2010 Honda Accord that struck a deer on Watkins Road near Wildwood Lane at 6:33 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 10000 block of Faulk Street in Jerome for a person threatening self-harm at 7:48 p.m. Thursday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers helped deliver meals for “Meals on Wheels” in Logan and Champaign counties at 10 a.m. Thursday.
A trooper took masks from Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine to Batelle in Columbus at 10 a.m. Thursday.
