Police responded to a report of theft in the 800 block of Autumn Chase at 9:23 a.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of identity theft in the 100 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 10:43 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate the reporting person found a cell phone bill in her name from Sprint even though she has a different cell service provider.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 300 block of Springwood Lane at 11:56 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate an individual found a cell phone lying next to their house.
Police responded to assist another agency in the 800 block of W. Fourth Street at 4:51 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate MPD received information regarding a missing runaway juvenile out of Indiana being in Marysville. The male juvenile was located and arraignments were made.
Police responded to a suicide threat in the 400 block of S. Maple Street at 9:54 p.m. Saturday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Amanda Jill Fister that occurred on U.S. 33 at Delaware Avenue at 11:47 a.m. Saturday.
Kaylah Watters, 21, of Columbus was cited for theft in the 900 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 8 p.m. Sunday.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 100 block of W. Third Street at 1:12 p.m. Sunday.
Police responded to a report of juvenile offenses in the 1400 block of Hickory Gate Drive at 6:52 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate a juvenile ran away from home after an argument with their parents.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 600 block of Chestnut Street at 7:11 p.m. Sunday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies assisted the Plain City Police Department with a domestic dispute at a residence on North Avenue in Plain City at 12:01 a.m. Friday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 1000 block of Route 4 to investigate a missing person at 1:18 a.m. Friday. The person was later located in Michigan.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash involving a 2011 Dodge Journey that drove off the road and into a ditch on U.S. 36 near McMahill Road at 9:55 a.m. Friday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 10000 block of Butternut Drive to investigate the theft of a package from a front porch at 10:58 a.m. Friday.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Johnna A. Carter, 22, of Marysville for a bond violation at 3:01 p.m. Friday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Officer to take custody of Mandy M. Halterman, 43, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 6:58 p.m. Friday. She was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies responded to Route 31 near Wheeler Green Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Freightliner semi-truck that struck a deer at 7:09 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 17000 block of Allen Center Road to check on a person making threats of self-harm at 10:45 p.m. Friday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy met with a Delaware Police Officer to take custody of Sean M. Campbell, 28, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 1:06 a.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 22000 block of Route 739 for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 3:03 a.m. Saturday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
While on patrol, a deputy stopped to check a suspicious person near a business on North Franlkin Street in Richwood at 4:05 a.m. Saturday. After further investigation, Robert D. Willis, 41, of Richwood was arrested for an outstanding warrant. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 22000 block of Route 245 to take possession of a license plate that was found in the ditch at 8:24 a.m. Saturday. The license plate was returned to the owner.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 14000 block of Payne Road for an unruly juvenile threatening self-harm at 12:49 p.m. Saturday. The juvenile was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 23000 block of Heenan Road for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 2:45 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies investigated a verbal dispute between a homeowner and a pedestrian in the 10000 block of Corona Lane at 4:21 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies were sent to the area of Hagenderfer Road and Hawn Road to investigate a littering complaint at 6:52 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District responded to a residence in the 18000 block of Cunningham Arbela Road for an overdose at 4:29 a.m. Sunday. The overdose victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. After investigating the overdose, deputies arrested Austin T. Miller, 25, of Raymond for an outstanding warrant. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 22000 block of Darby Pottersburg Road to investigate a dispute between a stepfather and his stepson at 9:33 a.m. Sunday.
While on patrol, a deputy stopped on Industrial Parkway near Scottslawn Road to check a possibly disabled 2015 Honda CR-V at 12:18 p.m. Sunday. After further investigation, it was determined the vehicle had been involved in a property damage crash. The crash was turned over to the Marysville Police Department.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 19000 block of Pine Lane to investigate the theft of a stove, a desk, a wheelbarrow, air conditioners, and grills at 2:39 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies were sent to a property in the 34000 block of Route 31 to investigate a hunting complaint at 3:17 p.m. Sunday.
Union County deputies assisted the Madison County Sheriff’s Office with an injury crash in the 10000 block of Route 161 at 5:01 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy investigated the possible theft and fraudulent use of a debit card that occurred at a residence on Rose Street in Magnetic Springs at 6:53 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District responded to a residence in the 18000 block of Miller Road for a person found deceased at 7:40 p.m. Sunday. The Union County Coroner was called to the scene.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers assisted Viviana Villalobos Carroz, 20, who struck a deer while traveling northwest on U.S. 33 at mile post 26 at 7:24 a.m. Friday. Carroz did not experience any injuries and made arrangements to have her car towed from the scene.
Troopers helped deliver “Meals on Wheels” in Logan and Champaign counties at 10 a.m. Friday.
Two troopers participated in a drive-by parade for a 10-year-old on Hinton Mill Road Saturday.
Two troopers assisted the Kenton Police Department with stopping a hit-skip semi-truck on Route 31 in Union County at 2:52 p.m.
