According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Thomas J. Schroll, 29, of Butternut Drive was cited for driving under license forfeiture or child support suspension in the 500 block of Tenth Street at 7:06 a.m. Wednesday.
Chase Joseph Pfolsgrof, 30, of 500 N. Main street was cited for driving under suspension and speed in the 300 block of N. Maple Street at 4:32 p.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 100 block of Butternut Drive at 11:01 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate an owner’s gun was missing and possibly stolen.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 15000 block of U.S. 36 at 1:41 p.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of identity theft in the 100 block of N. Main Street at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate an individual said her ID was stolen and used to open a Columbia Gas account.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department and the Concord Township Fire Department responded to U.S. 33 near Mitchell Dewitt Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 1985 Chevrolet Silverado that was struck from behind by a 2012 Toyota Corolla at 6:59 a.m. Wednesday. The driver of the Corolla, Zachary Heilman, 27, of Milford Center was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
A deputy took possession of a cosmetic bag containing prescription medications that was found on the roadway in the 26000 block of Claibourne Road at 7:06 a.m. Wednesday. The items were returned to the owner.
A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Tiffany M. Humphrey, 36, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:38 a.m. Wednesday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies went to a resident in the 25000 block of Yearsley Road to arrest Nicholas Kinstle, 57, of Van Wert for an outstanding arrest warrant from Adams County, Indiana at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 21000 block of Peoria Loop Road to investigate a domestic dispute between a brother and a sister at 4:28 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 32000 block of Fields Road for an unruly juvenile at 7:43 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 21000 block of Peoria Loop Road to investigate damage to a 1999 Dodge Dakota at 8:17 p.m. Wednesday.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers responded to the scene of a minor injury crash involving Roger Cooper, 25, of Magnetic Springs and Ryan Goins, 24, of Richwood on Route 4 near Tawa Road at 5:33 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate Goins was attempting to make a left turn onto Tawa Road when Cooper attempted to overtake Goins’ vehicle but aborted the overtake. Cooper attempted to drive off the road to the right to avoid contact, but ultimately failed to maintain assured clear distance ahead and struck Goins’ vehicle. Cooper had minor injuries, which were not treated at the scene. He was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Troopers retrieved used masks from Mary Rutan Hospital and delivered them to Battelle during the 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. shift. They also picked up sanitized masks and delivered them back to Mary Rutan Hospital.
