According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police conducted a death investigation in the 600 block of Kentucky Circle at 7:43 a.m. Friday. The reporting person indicated a family member died following a medical emergency.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 300 block of S. Court Street at 8:53 a.m. Friday. The reporting person indicated there were fraudulent charges on her checking account.
Police responded to a report of telecommunication harassment in the 300 block of S. Maple Street at 2:47 p.m. Friday. A female was sent text messages “threatening serious harm against her and her family.”
Police conducted a well-being check in the 1200 block of Valley Drive at 12:05 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a son called MPD and requested an officer check on his mother.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Donald Lee Wears, 58, of W. Fifth Street and Jack Thomas Dagenhart, 21, of Watkins Glen Blvd. that occurred on Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at E. Fifth Street at 12:17 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate Wears was at the intersection of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. waiting to turn left onto E. Fifth Street. Dagenhart was traveling northbound on Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. and sideswiped Wears’ vehicle as he drove through the intersection. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. Dagenhart was cited for failure to control.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Evan Cade McElroy, 26, of Richwood and Adam B. Damron, 33, of Richwood that occurred on Route 4 at County Home Road at 2:50 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate McElroy was traveling southbound on Route 4 just north of County Home Road. Damron was traveling northbound on Route 4, also north of County Hone Road. McElroy swerved to miss a car stopped in front of him and struck Damron’s vehicle. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. McElroy was cited for failure to control and driving without paying reinstatement fees.
Police responded to assist another agency in the 100 block of N. Cherry Street at 3:28 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate the Logan County Sheriff’s Office reported a missing juvenile in the Marysville area.
Police responded to a report of an assault in the 600 block of W. Third Street at 6:27 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate a male was assaulted in the parking lot of his apartment complex.
Police responded to a report of rape involving a juvenile that occurred at an unlisted address at 8:08 p.m. Sunday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Brenda Jo Warren, 64, of Allenby Drive and a juvenile driver that occurred on U.S. 33 at 3:49 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate Warren was slowing to stop in traffic when the juvenile driver struck the rear of her vehicle. The impact caused Warren’s vehicle to spin, causing secondary collisions between the front end of both vehicles. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. The juvenile driver was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

A deputy was sent to the West Central Community Based Correctional Facility to take custody of William C. Tyree II, 26, of Thornville for a parole violation at 10:32 a.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 10000 block of Arrowwood Drive to investigate a neighbor dispute at 1:04 p.m. Friday.
A deputy went to the Logan County Jail to take custody of Javory D. Stookey, 36, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:38 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy responded to Hyland Croy Road north of Post Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2011 International School bus that was struck from behind by a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee at 4:13 p.m. Friday. The juvenile driver of the Jeep was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy investigated a telecommunications harassment that occurred at a residence in the 17000 block of Clark Dawson Road at 6:07 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 20000 block of Peoria Loop Road to investigate a young child that walked away from a residence at 6:19 p.m. Friday. The parents were located and the Department of Job and Family Services was notified.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 9200 block of Railroad Street in Arnold to investigate a dispute at 8:49 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 20000 block of Evans Road to investigate a dispute between a mother and daughter at 9:02 p.m. Friday.
A deputy responded to a property damage crash that occurred on U.S. 33 near Mitchell Dewitt Road involving a semi-truck that struck a 2007 Ford F-150 while changing lanes at 9:43 p.m. Friday. The semi-truck fled the scene.
A deputy was dispatched to a property in the 17000 block of Cradler Turner Road to investigate a break-in where a go-kart and two minibikes were stolen at 10:10 a.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to a residence in the 8000 block of Oak Ridge Lane for a person that attempted self-harm at 4:34 p.m. Saturday. The person was transported to Dublin Methodist Hospital.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to U.S. 33 near Beecher Gamble Road for a property damage crash involving a 2004 Chevrolet Avalance that drove off the road, struck a fence and came to rest in a ditch at 6:57 p.m. Saturday. After further investigation, the driver, Keene L. Sullivan, 48, of Lima was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a property in the 14000 block of Miller Road to investigate damage to a farm field at 7:15 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy went to the Ross County Jail to take custody of Aaron D. Cox, 23, of Chillicothe for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:41 p.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 18000 block of Route 31 to investigate a dispute over the possession of a cell phone at 9:03 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy was sent to a correctional facility in the 18000 block of Route 4 to investigate threats made toward the facility and its occupants at 10:29 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 19000 block of Main Street in Broadway for an unruly juvenile at 10:58 p.m. Saturday. After further investigation, the juvenile was arrested and transported to the Central Ohio Youth Center.
While on patrol, a deputy stopped to check a disabled 2011 Ford F-150 on the Route 161 on-ramp to U.S. 33 at 12:13 a.m. Sunday. After further investigation, the driver, Leonsio W. Torres-Garcia, 36, of Columbus was charged with having physical control of a vehicle while under the influence.
A deputy responded to U.S. 33 near Mitchell Dewitt Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2019 Subaru Outback that struck a deer at 11:55 a.m. Sunday.
Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department responded to U.S. 33 east of Honda Parkway for a property damage crash involving a 2005 Mercedes-Benz that drove off the right side of the road and came to rest in a ditch full of water at 3:49 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies were dispatched to a business in the 7000 block of Route 161 to investigate a dispute between an ex-girlfriend and ex-boyfriend at 11:41 p.m. Sunday.
