According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to assist another agency in the 15000 block of Watkins Road at 12:27 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate MPD assisted a Union County Sheriff’s Office deputy with a suspect who was found in possession of drugs and was resisting arrest.

As a result of a traffic stop on Watkins Road near U.S. 36, a deputy arrested Malek A. Bayless, 22, of Delaware for operating a vehicle while under the influence and resisting arrest at 12:26 a.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 21000 block of Main Street in Raymond to investigate a burglary and the theft of electronics, guns and power tools at 1:02 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies responded to Route 47 near Ford Reed Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser that lost control, drove off the road, struck a culvert and then struck several signposts at 6:40 a.m. Wednesday. The driver, Nathaniel A. Miller, 32, of Marion was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire at the intersection of Route 4 and Wolford Maskill Road involving a 2008 Acura TL at 8:27 a.m. Wednesday.
A deputy investigated unauthorized charges on a debit card that occurred at a residence in the 12000 block of Route 4 at 1:14 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy investigated a possible fraudulent check that was received as payment for an online transaction that occurred in the 18000 block of Dog Leg Road at 3:49 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy responded to U.S. 33 near Barker Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Kia Soul that was struck in the windshield by a sign that came off of a passing truck at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy responded to Railroad Street in Milford Center to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2019 Freightliner semi-truck that struck a utility pole at 5:39 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies were dispatched to a home in the 18000 block of Cunningham Arbela Road to investigate a dispute between the current residents and a former resident at 7:49 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 23000 block of Route 31 to investigate a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at 9:01 p.m. Wednesday. The parties were separated.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers responded to the scene of a non-injury crash on Waldo Road at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate Jennifer Rafferty of Marysville was traveling eastbound on Waldo Road when she struck a deer. No citations were issued.
