Police responded to a report of a dispute in the 600 block of Allenby Drive at 8:35 a.m. Thursday. The reporting person advised her daughter reported her to Child Protective Services and submitted false claims of abuse.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 600 block of E. Fourth Street at 5:54 p.m. Thursday. The complainant reportedly found a gun in his car.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 100 block of N. Cherry Street at 8:20 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate a man pointed a handgun at a couple while driving.

Deputies assisted officers from the Plain City Police Department with investigating a series of vehicle break-ins that occurred in the area of Cooper Lane and Alcott Drive at 2:28 a.m. Thursday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Division of Fire and Franklin County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the intersection of Route 161 and Cosgray Road to investigate an injury crash at 7:25 a.m. Thursday. A 2021 Honda Civic failed to yield when turning left and was struck by a 2015 GMC Sierra. One patient was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash involving a 2011 GMC Acadia and a 2015 Jeep Wrangler that occurred at Jerome Road and Ryan Parkway at 8:48 a.m. Thursday.
A Union County deputy met with a Franklin County deputy to take custody of Brandon L. Ray, 30, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 12:41 p.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department were dispatched to U.S. 33 near U.S. 42 for a report of a vehicle fire involving a 2011 Ford F-450 at 3:39 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash that occurred at a business in the 7000 block of Route 161 involving a 2017 Honda Odyssey and a 2015 Honda Odyssey that struck each other while backing out of parking spaces at the same time at 4:33 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 29000 block of McMillan Road to investigate a domestic dispute between mother and daughter at 10:28 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy investigated a report of a possible sex offense that occurred at a residence in the 12000 block of Route 347 at 11:06 p.m. Thursday.
