According to Plain City Police Department reports:
An officer was requested to assist the Union County Sheriff’s Office for a report of an intrusion alarm and multiple other motion alarms coming from Buckeye Western Star on Commerce Place at 12:21 p.m. May 31.
A subject came to the police department to hand over his black Sig Sauer 1911 CO2 pistol at 10:54 a.m. May 31. The subject stated that he did not want the replica toy pistol but he did not want to throw it away. The subject was fearful “someone would find it and do bad things with it” because it resembles a real firearm. A property receipt was issued and the item was taken in as recovered property.
Officers observed an open door on North Avenue at 4:51 a.m. May 31.
An officer observed a dome light on inside a gray Mercedes parked in a driveway on Lantern Lane at 2:47 a.m. May 30.
An officer responded to an open door on Red Knot Court at 1:56 a.m. May 30.
An officer responded to an open door on Lantern Lane at 2:50 a.m. May 30.
An officer observed a black Ford Ram parked at the Dollar General on South Jefferson Avenue at 5:15 a.m. May 30. The officer made contact with the driver, who advised she was waiting at the listed location for a penny sale when the store opened. The driver showed the officer the advertisement.
An officer responded to an open door at Security National Bank on West Main Street at 5:43 p.m. May 30.
Officers were dispatched to a three-vehicle injury crash at Cemetery Pike and Plain City Georgesville Road at 2:30 p.m. May 29. Mohamad Alshalbi was later issued a citation for a stop sign violation. All three vehicles were towed from the scene.
Megan Bocook came into the police station to get her car from the PCPD impound lot at 10:19 a.m. May 29. While running a registration check on Bocook to ensure her license was valid, it was found that she had an active Madison County warrant for failure to appear, resulting from a traffic offense. The Madison County Sheriff’s Office advised PCPD to have Bocook report to the Madison County Municipal Court that Tuesday to take care of the warrant. Bocook said she understood. She paid her fines for the impound and provided the appropriate paperwork to have her vehicle released back into her custody.
An officer responded to an open door at Daily Needs Assistance on West Main Street at 1:02 a.m. May 29.
An officer was met at the police department at 3:05 p.m. May 29 in reference to a stalking complaint. The subject was advised a report would be on file at the police department.
An officer was dispatched to the Marathon on East Main Street to meet with a subject in reference to a road rage incident that resulted in him getting pepper sprayed at 12:04 p.m. May 28. The other vehicle was later located by a Union County Sheriff’s Office deputy. The other driver, Bradley Williams, advised the deputy that the other vehicle pulled over and “they exchanged words.” Williams advised the other driver started to open his door, so he sprayed the other driver with pepper spray. Williams later met with an officer at the police department and was issued a summons for disorderly conduct.
An officer responded to the Plain City Area Baseball Association on North Chillicothe Street at 3:07 p.m. May 28 in reference to a group of possible suspicious vehicles near the ball fields. Upon arrival, the vehicles had already vacated. The officer patrolled the area and did not observe anything suspicious. The officer spoke to the park director/reporting party and advised her to contact PCPD again if she observed them in the area.
An officer was dispatched to Smith Place at 8:20 p.m. May 28 in reference to a tree that had fallen in the yard due to high winds. The officer made contact with the tree owner and advised her of the incident. The officer attempted to speak with the resident at the listed location but no one was home. Reports indicate the officer would follow up on his next shift.
While on routine patrol, an officer observed two juveniles sitting on top of the visitor dugout at Kaiser Field at 8:07 p.m. May 28. Both juveniles got down without incident and apologized. The officer made contact with the juvenile’s mother via public service and advised her of the incident.
An officer was flagged down by a homeowner in front of his residence on Murlay Drive at 6:49 p.m. May 28. The homeowner advised there was a white, domesticated rabbit in his yard. The officer tried to capture it, but the rabbit ran under the rear deck of the home. The homeowner advised that he would set a live trap and contact officers if he is able to capture it.

An officer responded to an open door on Alderwood Circle South at 12:16 a.m. May 28.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Alderwood Circle at 1:20 a.m. May 28 in reference to possible vehicle break-ins.
An officer responded to an open door on Alderwood Circle at 1:50 a.m. May 28.
An officer responded to an open door on Ratcliff Lane at 1:54 a.m. May 28.
An officer responded to an open door on Ratcliff Lane at 1:59 a.m. May 28.
An officer responded to an open door on Bluestem Lane at 2:10 a.m. May 28.
An officer responded to the intersection of Jackson Blvd. and Wesley Avenue in reference to a parking complaint, reported anonymously at 6:01 p.m. May 28. The officer made contact with the vehicle owner via public service. The owner advised she would move the vehicle. The officer patrolled the area a few minutes after contact was made and the vehicle was moved.
An officer responded to an open door on Bluestem Lane at 2:22 a.m. May 28.
An officer was on patrol and observed several suspicious people on the baseball fields at the Plain City Area Baseball Association on North Chillicothe Street at 12:11 a.m. May 28. All parties were warned for curfew and parents were notified.
An officer responded to an open door on Wellsley Way at 2:30 a.m. May 28.
An officer responded to an open door on West Avenue at 2:37 a.m. May 28.
An officer observed a white GMC entering Cohesion Paper Product, LLC on South Jefferson Avenue at 2:54 a.m. May 28. The officer determined everything to be fine.
An officer responded to an open door at Pioneer Pizza on North Chillicothe Street at 3:19 a.m. May 28.
An officer responded to Murlay Drive at 8:22 a.m. May 28 in reference to an unconscious male who was reportedly not breathing. Once assistance was no longer needed, the officer returned to patrol.

Police responded to an open door at the municipal buildings on South Chillicothe Street at 4:31 a.m. May 27.
An officer observed a suspicious white Chevrolet Trailblazer at the McDonald’s lot on South Jefferson Avenue at 2:03 a.m. May 27.
An officer observed the dome light on in a blue 2005 Honda in front of Cottonwood Court at 1:49 a.m. May 27. An officer made contact with the owner, who turned off the dome light and advised everything was O.K.
An officer was dispatched to North Avenue at 7:50 p.m. May 25 in reference to a juvenile complaint. The complainant was advised to no longer have the kids visit at her apartment in order to avoid confrontation.
An officer was requested by the Union County Sheriff’s Office at 7:38 p.m. May 25 to check the area of Lambka Road in reference to missing kayakers.
Officers were dispatched to U.S. 42 north at 7:14 p.m. May 25 in reference to a driving complaint. The suspect showed no signs of impairment.
An officer was met at the police department at 6:49 p.m. May 25 in reference to a driving complaint that occurred on Converse Road. As soon as the complainant left the police department, the officer was approached by the subject’s mother. The officer advised the subject to obey the speed limits and also to avoid any contact with the subject. The officer said he would be reviewing video surveillance in the area for the burnout.
A complainant called the police department at 12:39 p.m. May 25 because she was leaving her residence and would like a civil standby.
