Police responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 14000 block of Scottslawn Road at 1:12 a.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 15000 block of U.S. 36 at 11:59 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate a suspect stole $1,498 worth of merchandise from Lowe’s.
Police responded to a report of a dispute in the 100 block of Woodcrest Drive at 6:34 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate a female was dropping off a child to another woman. The two reportedly got into a verbal argument that led to one female grabbing the other woman’s arm.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 1600 block of Cobblestone Way at 7:45 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate MPD was called to Turkey Hill in reference to theft of medication.
Police responded to a report of rape involving a 13-year-old that occurred at an unlisted address at 8:57 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of a dispute in the 100 block of Elwood Avenue at 2:37 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate a male was attempting to remove a flag pole he had mistakenly placed in the neighbor’s yard.
Police responded to a report of a mental health issue in the 800 block of Watkins Glen Blvd. at 11:05 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of a missing person in the 15000 block of Watkins Road at 10:28 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate an elderly missing male was located and brought back to the police department for help.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Maryna Vladimirovna Caponigro, 51, of Meadow Ridge Way that occurred on Scottslawn Road at 6:44 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate Caponigro was traveling northeast on Scottslawn Road approaching the entrance to 14000 Scottslawn Road when a deer ran out from the side of the road. The deer struck the front passenger side of the vehicle causing damage down the passenger side. The driver was not injured.
Police responded to an accident involving Taryn Melynn Hammond, 39, of Scott Farms Blvd. and Connor Randall Scheumann, 22, of Bellefontaine that occurred on Route 4 at Scott Farms Blvd. at 12:49 p.m. Friday. Hammond was traveling north on Route 4 when Scheumann was stopped at the stop sign on Scott Farms Blvd. Scheumann made a left turn to go south on Route 4, in front of Hammond. Hammond struck Scheumann’s vehicle, causing disabling damage. Scheumann did not experience any apparent injuries. Hammond experienced possible injuries. Hammond was cited for failure to yield the right of way when turning.
Petra Santana-Garcia, 27, of Buerger Street was cited for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the 200 block of Buerger Street at 7:24 p.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of a dispute in the 500 block of Park Avenue at 6:06 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate MPD responded to the area in reference to a complaint regarding a person with a knife.
Police responded to a report of a dispute in the 800 block of Columbus Avenue at 8:25 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a resident’s ex-boyfriend kicked in the door of a home he used to stay at, during an attempt to retrieve his belongings.
Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct in the 100 block of N. Main Street at 2:20 a.m. Sunday. Reports indicate Terry Michael Carpenter was arrested for disorderly conduct and outstanding warrants out of Dublin, following a fight in front of Stephens Lounge. An arrest report including Carpenter’s age and residence was not available at press time.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 700 block of S. Walnut Street at 10:49 a.m. Sunday. The reporting person indicated drugs were located at a halfway house.
Police responded to a report of a mental health issue in the 800 block of Watkins Glen Blvd. that occurred at 7:27 p.m. Sunday.
