According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Tina Marie Brooks, 49, of Milford Center was cited for theft in the 900 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 8:21 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate Brooks was arrested for theft at Meijer.
James G. Denny, 55, of Tulip Drive was cited for driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs .10 of 1 and stopping after an accident upon a property other than the street in the 546 block of N. Main Street at 7:33 p.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of theft by deception in the 1000 block of Delaware Avenue at 11:41 a.m. Wednesday. The reporting person indicated an unknown person stole numerous rental items from Sunbelt Rentals.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 100 block of Hemlock Drive at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday. The reporting person advised her trashcan was stolen.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
As a result of a traffic stop in the 21000 block of Route 31, a deputy arrested Nathan L. Moxley, 30, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant from Hocking County at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Marysville Municipal Court and released after posting a bond.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 22000 block of Jackson Road to investigate a trespassing complaint at 12:18 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Joshua L. Gingerich, 31, of Richwood for a probation violation at 1:43 p.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to U.S. 33 near U.S. 42 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu and a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt at 4:11 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 10000 block of Route 4 to search for a missing person at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday. The person was located.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 19000 block of Poling Road for a person that attempted self-harm at 8:18 p.m. Wednesday. The person was transported to Maryhaven.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
A trooper investigated a possible property damage crash on U.S. 36 near mile post 3 at 6:53 a.m. Tuesday. Upon further investigation, Richard N. Peterman, 48, of Irwin was arrested for drug-related impaired driving. The driver was also charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Candace Morrison, 28, of Lakeview was traveling eastbound on U.S. 33 near Harrison Street in Lakeview at 3:02 p.m. Tuesday. She was operating a 2008 Dodge Caliber and failed to maintain assured clear distance ahead. She struck a 2013 Honda Accord driven by Dawn Burba, 47, of Huntsville. No injuries were reported. Morrison was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
A 2007 Peterbilt semi-truck operated by Isaac Fehr, 41, of Wheatley, Ontario was traveling northbound on U.S. 68. A 2015 Volvo semi-truck operated by William Heintz, 77, of Belle Center was westbound on Route 273 in Logan County. Heintz failed to yield from the stop sign and was struck by Fehr’s semi-truck. No injuries were reported. Heintz was issued a ticket for failure to yield from a stop sign.
