While on patrol, a deputy checked a suspicious 1997 Dodge Ram truck that was parked along the side of the road in the 13000 block of Industrial Parkway at 12:06 a.m. Thursday. After further investigation, a vehicle occupant, Jacob A. Morrow, 29, of Chillicothe was arrested for possession of drug abuse instruments. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies responded to U.S. 33 near Brock Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Hyundai Sonata that struck a deer at 2:17 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy met a Columbus Police Department officer to take custody of Anthony B. Frierson, 31, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 3:12 a.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department were dispatched to a residence in the 20000 block of Barker Road for a person having a mental health crisis at 4:42 a.m. Thursday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy responded to the roundabout on Route 161 at Eiterman Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2014 Subaru Legacy that was struck by a 2021 Toyota Highlander at 10:11 a.m. Thursday. The driver of the Toyota, Stephen A. Vivian, 69, of Columbus was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way.
Deputies went to a residence in the 13000 block of Pleasant Ridge Drive to arrest William D. Fordyce, 35, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 11:16 a.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office and later released on bond.
A Union County deputy met with a Franklin County deputy to take custody of Christopher S. Hodges, 38, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 11:53 a.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A Union County deputy assisted the Logan County Sheriff’s Office and the Bokes Creek Township Fire Department with a barn fire in the 2900 block of County Road 125 in West Mansfield at 12:39 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy responded to U.S. 33 near Scottslawn Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado that was struck by a 2011 Honda Pilot at 1:05 p.m. Thursday. The driver of the Honda, Britania M. Bechtol, 42, of Marysville was issued a traffic citation for failure to drive in marked lanes.
A deputy investigated a dispute between a vehicle owner and a towing company over a vehicle that was towed out of a crash that occurred in the 21000 block of Route 245 at 1:18 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy and units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the U.S. 33 off-ramp to Route 739 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Subaru Impreza and a Hyundai Sonata at 4:10 p.m. Thursday. The State Patrol investigated the crash.
Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department and the Northeast Champaign County Fire District responded to the intersection of Middleburg Plain City Road and Lincoln Road for an injury crash involving a 2015 Honda CR-V that was struck by a 2014 Mazda 6 at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. The driver of the Mazda, Jonathon A. Charley, 22, of Plain City was issued a traffic citation for improper passing.
A deputy was dispatched to a school in the 11000 block of Route 38 to investigate a property damage crash involving a Honda Pilot and a Buick Lucerne at 6:31 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy responded to a business in the 11000 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2010 Ford F-150 and a 2017 Toyota Corolla at 8:56 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 33000 block of Route 37 for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 9:31 p.m. Thursday.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 12000 block of Beecher Gamble Road to investigate the unauthorized use of a 2014 Nissan Altima at 3:12 a.m. Friday. The vehicle was returned to the owner.
A deputy was sent to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Tony G. Hill, 36, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 5:46 a.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy went to the Van Wert County Jail to take custody of Todd R. Baker, 39, of Springfield for an outstanding arrest warrant at 7:19 a.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a construction site in the 10000 block of New California Drive to investigate the theft of a hot water tank at 8:52 a.m. Friday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 19000 block of Main Street in Broadway to assist case workers from the Department of Job and Family Services at 9:20 a.m. Friday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 13000 block of Harmon Patrick Road to investigate a burglary at 10:22 a.m. Friday.
A deputy met with a resident from the 19000 block of Coleman Brake Road to investigate identity theft involving a social media website at 12:04 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was sent to a business in the 7000 block of Route 161 to investigate the theft of a laptop computer that was stolen from a 2021 Ford F-150 at 4:44 p.m. Friday.
A deputy investigated threatening statements by an ex-boyfriend that occurred at a residence in the 20000 block of Peoria Loop Road at 6:17 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 19000 block of Cotton Slash Road for an unruly juvenile at 10:13 p.m. Friday.
A deputy met with a Delaware Police Department officer to take custody of Kelly M. Winters, 28, of Delaware for an outstanding arrest warrant at 10:23 p.m. Friday. She was transported to the Sheriff’s Office and released after posting a bond.
A deputy and units from the Northwestern Joint Fire District responded to a vehicle fire in a farm field in the 23000 block of Wolford Maskill Road at 11:02 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 21000 block of Main Street in Raymond to investigate a domestic fight between an ex-husband and ex-wife at 12:40 a.m. Saturday. As a result of the investigation, James A. French, 46, of Raymond was arrested for domestic violence and menacing. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department and the Pleasant Valley Fire District responded to the roundabout at Industrial Parkway and Old Industrial Parkway for an injury crash involving a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder that was struck by a 2022 Ducati motorcycle at 11:11 a.m. Saturday. The driver of the Nissan, Colleen M. Bingaman, 36, of Centerburg was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way. One victim was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital.
A deputy responded to the 12000 block of Black Road to investigate a property damage crash involving an unknown vehicle that struck a mailbox and then left the scene at 4:05 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District responded to the 28000 block of Grindell Road for an injury crash involving a White 140F farm tractor that drove off the road and into a ditch at 5:05 p.m. Saturday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy responded to Route 347 near Titus Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2021 Hyundai Tucson that struck a deer at 9:07 p.m. Saturday.
As a result of a traffic stop on Columbus Avenue near Clymer Road, a deputy arrested Ronald T. Workman, 59, of Columbus for operating a vehicle while under the influence at 9:20 p.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 19000 block of Main Street in Broadway to investigate a dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend at 5:25 a.m. Sunday.
Deputies and units from the Pleasant Valley Fire District were dispatched to a residence on Railroad Street in Unionville Center for an overdose at 5:25 p.m. Sunday.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate a trespassing complaint at 10:38 p.m. Sunday.
