According to Plain City Police Department reports:
An officer was advised of a minor non-injury crash at the Country Place Community Center on County Place Lane at 8:23 a.m. June 29. PCPD did not complete a crash report due to the incident occurring on private property.
An officer met with a complainant at the police department on Village Blvd. at 12:30 p.m. June 29. The complainant was concerned about a text she received. The officer explained the options for filing a telecommunications harassment or harassment report. The officer told the complainant to call if she continued to have problems. Due to the limited communications from the suspect and the fact that there were no overt threats, the officer did not contact the suspect regarding this incident.
An officer was dispatched to the Old Hotel Apartments on West Main Street at 3:01 p.m. June 29 in reference to a dispute.
An officer responded to Pastime Park on North Chillicothe Street at 2:20 p.m. July 1 at the request of the Parks and Recreation Director in reference to a dispute.
Officers were dispatched to the North Avenue Apartments on North Avenue at 9:14 p.m. July 1 in reference to a possible fight. Anthony Hawkins was subsequently placed into custody for persistent disorderly conduct. Hawkins was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
An officer responded to Aldi on Route 161 at 9:20 p.m. July 1 at the request of the Union County Sheriff’s Office in reference to an alarm drop.
An officer noticed a subject operating a scissor lift on West Main Street at 10:05 p.m. July 1. The lift was in the roadway. The officer assisted with traffic control until the project was finished.
An officer was advised by an anonymous complainant that a concrete truck had spilled concrete in the road at 1:35 p.m. July 1. Upon arrival, the officer observed a large pile of concrete in a parking space next to 138 West Main Street and a trail of concrete heading westbound on West Main Street. Johnathan Chapman was subsequently issued a citation for loads dropping or leaking.
