According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Jared Westlyn Stewart, 21, of London was cited for disorderly conduct (fighting or threatening) and obstructing official business on Route 4 near Cooks Crossing Boulevard at 1:51 a.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate the citations stemmed from a July 4 incident in which Stewart attempted to flee from MPD “after he tried to start a fight at the fairgrounds.”
Terrence Eisel, 39, of Magnolia Drive was cited for possession, sale or discharge prohibited in the 500 block of North Main Street at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate MPD responded to a call of individuals lighting off fireworks at the Marysville Estates. Upon arrival, the individuals were setting them off at the Marysville Estate Park. Officers made contact with the group and “came across multiple professional grade fireworks.” Eisel was identified as the purchaser and was “found in possession.”
Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of North Maple Street at 12:02 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate a suspicious vehicle was located at Schwartzkopf Park.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 400 block of Wind Mil Drive at 2:34 a.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate an individual called MPD and advised her husband wanted to harm himself during a dispute.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a hit-skip driver and Niki J. Brown, 49, of Valley Drive that occurred on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard at 3:41 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate the rear of Brown’s vehicle was struck by the hit-skip driver while she was waiting to turn westbound on Delaware Avenue. The other driver drove eastbound on Delaware Avenue. The officer was reportedly able to track the driver through the city until it was seen traveling westbound on West Fifth Street and out of Marysville. The officer indicated the crash will continue to be investigated. Brown experienced possible injuries as a result of the incident.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 21000 block of Wolford Maskill Road to investigate a dispute between a grandmother and a granddaughter over a vehicle at midnight Tuesday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 12000 block of Hickory Ridge Road to investigate a harassment complaint at 1:29 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy went to the Logan County Jail to take custody of Tyrell M. Rogan, 41, of Bellefontaine for an outstanding arrest warrant at 3:16 p.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a business in the 7600 block of Commerce Place to investigate the theft of plumbing supplies at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy assisted the Plain City Police Department with a dispute between an employee and a customer at a business in the 200 block of West Main Street in Plain City.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 8600 block of Frazier Drive for an unruly juvenile at 8:54 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Department officer to take custody of Darryl D. Barner, 39, of Reynoldsburg for an outstanding arrest warrant at 9:17 p.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Union Township Fire Department were sent to a residence on West Street in Milford Center for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 9:24 p.m. Tuesday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
