According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a suicide threat in the 800 block of Columbus Avenue at 4:52 p.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Roger Edward Henry Robertson, 60, of Jackson and Makahla Nichole Harry, 27, of Kenmore Crossing that occurred on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate Robertson was behind Harry’s vehicle on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard, waiting to make a right turn onto Delaware Avenue. Harry moving forward to make the right turn, but then applied the brakes. Robertson, who was reportedly looking to the left to make sure no traffic was coming, did not see Harry apply the brakes. He struck the rear of her vehicle. Harry reported back pain but declined a medic, stating she may seek medical treatment on her own. Robertson was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy met with a Westerville Police Department officer to take custody of Kelly R. Busby, 33, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 7:18 a.m. Wednesday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies responded to U.S. 42 near Railroad Street in Arnold to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2014 Volvo semi-truck that lost control, drove off the road and struck a guardrail at 11:06 a.m. Wednesday. The driver, Nawaf F. Al Saidi, 30, of Hamtramck, Michigan was issued a citation for failure to control.
A deputy was dispatched to a school in the 11000 block of Route 38 to investigate the theft of a utility trailer, a John Deere Gator, a Stihl trimmer and an Echo trimmer at 1:06 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies and units from the Union Township Fire Department and the Marysville Fire Department responded to a residence on South Mill Street in Milford Center for an unresponsive person with CPR in progress at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
Deputies responded to the intersection of Mitchell Dewitt Road and McKitrick Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Lexus LX that struck a 2018 GMC Sierra at 3:52 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 13000 block of Weaver Road to investigate a family dispute and damage to the windows of a 2016 Buick Encore at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. As a result of the investigation, Jason B. Simmons, 42, of North Lewisburg was arrested for criminal damaging and transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 11000 block of Darby Boulevard West to investigate identity theft involving a fraudulent unemployment claim at 5:54 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies assisted a Richwood Police Department officer with an intoxicated person in the 2004 GMC Savanna van that was parked on Herbert Street in Richwood at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday.
