A deputy investigated a property damage crash that occurred in the 19000 block of Route 245 involving a 2008 Pontiac G6 that struck a deer at 3:43 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 10000 block of Sierra Woods Circle to investigate the theft of a 2014 Honda Accord at 4:12 a.m. Thursday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to U.S. 33 near U.S. 42 for a property damage crash involving a 2009 Nissan Quest that had a tire blow out, causing the Nissan to strike a 2012 Volvo semi-truck at 8:48 a.m. Thursday.
A Union County deputy met with a Franklin County deputy to take custody of Glen L. Jensen, 46, of Grove City for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:57 a.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 10000 block of Faulk Street for a person threatening self-harm at 11:40 a.m. Thursday. The person was transported to Dublin Springs Hospital.
Deputies were sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Bradley V. Cornett, 43, of Columbus for a bond violation at 3:45 p.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to the Logan County Jail to take custody of Michael A. Craig, 43, of Bellefontaine for an outstanding arrest warrant at 6:01 p.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to a business in the 7400 block of Route 161 for a vehicle involving a 2021 Volkswagen Atlas at 6:42 p.m. Thursday.
As a result of a traffic stop in the 11000 block of U.S. 42, deputies charged Lillie N. McCrary, 22, of Grove City with having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle and for operating a vehicle with only a temporary license at 8:37 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department responded to the 21000 block of Northwest Parkway for an injury crash involving a 2008 GMC Acadia that struck a 2016 Ford Edge at 9:24 p.m. Thursday. The driver of the GMC, Tabbitha L. Ritter, 30, of Bellefontaine was issued a traffic citation for failure to drive in marked lanes. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy responded to the 15000 block of Watkins Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Honda Civic that struck a deer at 9:26 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of John J. Potts, 33, of Springfield for a bond violation at 8:56 a.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 7000 block of Hyland Croy Road to investigate a fraud complaint involving an internet gift card scam at 9:22 a.m. Friday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 20000 block of Bonnie Court to investigate identity theft involving a fraudulently obtained credit card at 12:22 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was sent to the Delaware County Jail to take custody of Ronald G. Mills, 40, of Prospect for an outstanding arrest warrant at 3:51 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Union Township Fire Department responded to the 22000 block of Connor Road for a property damage crash involving a 2019 International refuse truck that was struck from behind by a 2011 Jeep Wrangler at 3:59 p.m. Friday. The driver of the Jeep, Russell E. Tinch, 38, of Plain City was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Christopher J. W. Cook, 27, of Richwood for a bond violation at 4:27 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy and units from the Northwestern Fire District, Allen Township Fire Department, Marysville Fire Department, Perry Township Fire Department, Ridgeway Fire Department and the Southeast Hardin Northwest Union Joint Fire District responded to a barn fire at a property in the 26000 block of Route 739 at 6:21 p.m. Friday.
A Union County deputy met with a Marion County deputy to take custody of Daniel P. Kandel, 40, of Plain City for an outstanding arrest warrant at 6:27 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 23000 block of Route 31 to investigate a missing person at 8:04 p.m. Friday. The person was located.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the U.S. 33 eastbound on-ramp from U.S. 42 for a crane on fire.
A deputy assisted Plain City Police Department officers with a domestic dispute that occurred at a park on North Chillicothe Street in Plain City at 10:55 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were sent to a home in the 16000 block of Martin Welch Road to investigate a possible underage party at 11:57 p.m. Friday. As a result of the investigation, Bryce D. Thomas, 18, of Marysville was charged with underage possession and consumption of alcohol and Isaac A. Tocci, 18, of Marysville was charged with allowing underage persons to possess or consume alcohol.
Deputies went to a residence in the 21000 block of Peoria Loop Road to arrest Corey W. Blackburn, 40, of Urbana for an outstanding warrant at 8:07 a.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies met with a Richwood Police Department officer to take custody of Kaleb L. McClung, 18, of Richwood for an outstanding arrest warrant at 12:59 p.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 21000 block of North Darby Coe Road to investigate a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at 1:06 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 14000 block of Harmon Patrick Road to investigate an unruly juvenile at 4:39 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to U.S. 33 near Brock Road for a vehicle fire involving a 2009 Honda Pilot at 6 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 21000 block of White Stone Road to investigate threatening text messages at 8:35 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy responded to the 9000 block of Mitchell Dewitt Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2009 Honda Accord that struck a set of railroad tracks at 10:58 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies responded to West Mansfield Mount Victory Road north of Lingrell Road for an injury crash involving a 2003 Honda CR-V that lost control, drove off the road and rolled over at 10:52 a.m. Sunday. The juvenile driver was issued a traffic citation for no operator’s license and failure to control.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 8000 block of Gardenia Drive to investigate a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at 12:16 p.m. Sunday. The parties were separated.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 25000 block of Route 245 to investigate a custody dispute at 3:33 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to U.S. 42 near Harriott Road for a property damage crash involving a 2019 Toyota RAV4 that was forced off the roadway and into a tree by an unknown vehicle that fled from the scene at 5:48 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies were sent to a residence on Main Street in Unionville Center to investigate a dispute between an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend at 7:27 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies were dispatched to a property in the 21000 block of Route 31 to investigate a trespassing complaint at 11:08 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 22000 block of Route 347 to investigate a dispute between a homeowner and a contractor at 11:53 p.m. Sunday.
