A deputy met with a Columbus Police Officer to take custody of Jeffrey A. Combs, 49, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 12:59 a.m. Friday. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 17000 block of Clark Dawson Road to investigate unwanted text and social media messages at 1:05 a.m. Friday.
A deputy took possession of a bank debit card that was found on the ground near Fourth Street in Marysville at 9:15 a.m. Friday. The card was returned to Huntington Bank.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department and the Concord Township Fire Department responded to the 11000 block of U.S. 42 for an injury crash involving a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek that was struck from behind by a 2010 Ford Focus at 9:31 a.m. Friday. The driver of the Ford, Adam J. Steinbrenner, 31, of Dublin was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Deputies and officers from the Dublin Police Department searched the 7600 block of Hyland Croy Road for a person making threats of self-harm at 12:39 p.m. Friday. The person was located.
Deputies and officers from the Plain City Police Department investigated a property damage crash involving a 2016 Chevrolet Traverse that struck a bollard at a business in the 7300 block of Route 161 and left the scene at 7:15 p.m. Friday.
A deputy met with an Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper to take custody of Tina M. Davidson, 40, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:35 p.m. Friday. She was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
As a result of a traffic stop on Collins Avenue east of Route 4, a deputy arrested Michael A. Owens, 59, of Marysville for operating a vehicle while under the influence and unauthorized use of a vehicle at 9:20 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 13000 block of Watkins Road to investigate a domestic dispute over child custody issues at 11:06 p.m. Friday.
A deputy met with a Grove City Police Officer to take custody of Jennifer M. Will, 32, of Stoutsville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 11:22 p.m. Friday. She was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Cory W. Rutter, 38, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 6:38 a.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Marysville Police Department.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 17000 block of Clark Dawson Road to investigate a possible protection order violation at 10:18 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy was sent to a property in the 24000 block of Route 347 to investigate a trespassing complaint at 12:01 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence on West State Street in Milford Center to investigate unwanted messages that were being received on a social media website at 2:25 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District were dispatched to a residence on Rose Street in Magnetic Springs to investigate a domestic assault between a boyfriend and girlfriend at 2:49 p.m. Saturday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy responded to the 7000 block of Wells Road for a property damage crash involving a 2017 Honda Odyssey that struck a deer at 5:07 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Richwood Police Department and the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District responded to a residence in the 10000 block of Kirby Road for a domestic fight between two brothers at 6:02 p.m. Saturday. As a result of the investigation, Zackery D. Jones, 23, of Delaware was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 10000 block of Fulton Creek Road for a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at 8:57 p.m. Saturday. As a result of the investigation, Chad A. Fitch, 43, of Richwood was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 12000 block of U.S. 42 for a domestic dispute between several family members at 1 a.m. Sunday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Short Street in Milford Center to investigate a domestic dispute between two girlfriends at 2:59 a.m. Sunday.
A deputy assisted a Richwood Police Officer with an overdose at a residence on South Franklin Street in Richwood at 9:45 a.m. Sunday.
Deputies were sent to a residence on Short Street in Milford Center for a dispute between two girlfriends at 12:57 p.m. Sunday. The parties were separated.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 20000 block of Peoria Loop Road to investigate a trespassing complaint and damage to a yard caused by heavy machinery at 2:07 p.m. Sunday.
While investigating an erratic driving complaint at 4:47 p.m. Sunday, a deputy stopped the suspect vehicle at the U.S. 33 westbound rest area. After further investigation, Jesus R. Lopez, 31, of Columbus was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A Union County deputy met with a Logan County deputy to take custody of Kodie A. Miner, 21, of Lakeview for an outstanding arrest warrant. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy responded to the roundabout at Route 161 and Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2019 Suzuki motorcycle that was struck by a 2005 Honda Accord at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy assisted a Richwood Police Officer with a domestic dispute at a residence on South Franklin Street at 8:53 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies went to a residence on Rose Street in Magnetic Springs to arrest Danielle M. Olvera, 40, of Xenia for domestic violence and felonious assault warrants at 9:14 p.m. Sunday. While at the same residence, deputies also arrested Dale A. Close, 53, of Marysville for an outstanding warrant from Hardin County. Olvera was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail and Close was turned over to a Hardin County deputy.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash that occurred on Route 4 near Askins Road involving a 2010 Honda Odyssey that struck a deer at 9:18 p.m. Sunday.
