According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 1500 block of London Avenue at 12:29 p.m. Friday. The reporting person found a “small bag containing an unknown green leafy substance.”
Police responded to a report of theft by deception in the 900 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 3:30 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate MPD were called to Meijer for a theft offense.
Police responded to a dispute in the 200 block of N. Cherry Street at 6:30 p.m. Friday. The reporting person advised she and another individual were in a dispute regarding a vehicle title and vehicle and the other individual was not letting her leave the residence.
Police responded to assist another agency in the 1800 block of Milford Avenue at 6:35 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate an officer assisted a UCSO unit with a domestic issue.
Police responded to a report of menacing in the 300 block of E. Fifth Street at 11:05 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Nicholas T. Adkins, 18, of Richwood and Rita M. Rigsby, 27, of Milford Avenue on Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 6:01 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate Adkins was following Rigsby southbound on Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. Rigsby slowed to pull into the shopping center at 401 Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. Adkins was attempting to retrieve a cell phone that had fallen and did not see Rigsby slow. Adkins rear-ended Rigsby. Rigsby did not experience any apparent injuries and Adkins experienced suspected minor injuries. Adkins was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Donald Leroy Myers and Cameron Dean-Albert Landacre that occurred on Delaware Avenue at Cherry Street at 3:23 p.m. Saturday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Joel P. Steinmetz that occurred on E. Fifth Street at 9:01 p.m. Saturday.
Kari E. Wisecarver, 31, of Mechanicsburg was cited for driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs and speeding on U.S. 33 at 2:37 a.m. Sunday.
Police responded to assist another agency on U.S. 33 westbound at 3:03 a.m. Sunday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 500 block of N. Main Street at 11:18 a.m. Sunday. Reports indicate an individual reported someone stole beer from Short Stop.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 18000 block of Route 347 to investigate a domestic dispute between a girlfriend and boyfriend at 12:31 a.m. Friday. The parties were separated.
Deputies and units from the Liberty Township Fire Department responded to the intersection of Route 47 and Route 31 for a property damage crash involving a 1993 Freightliner semi-truck that struck a utility pole at 9:48 a.m. Friday. The driver, Rickey L. Houck, 65, of Sidney was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 17000 block of Kandel Road to investigate identity theft involving the victim’s personal information and an apartment rental at 2:20 p.m. Friday.
As a result of a traffic stop on Route 4 near Route 347, a deputy charged Tiffany A. Combs, 38, of Marion with possession of drug abuse instruments at 4:10 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were sent to a residence on South Main Street in Magnetic Springs to investigate the possible theft of water heater parts at 6:08 p.m. Friday. During the investigation, Brent T. Herriott, 29, of Magnetic Springs was arrested for an outstanding warrant. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Police Department were sent to a residence in the 1800 block of Milford Avenue for a domestic dispute between two brother at 6:33 p.m. Friday. After further investigation, Joshua A. Bell, 19, of Marysville was arrested in the City of Delaware for domestic violence. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 14000 block of County Home Road for a domestic dispute between an ex-husband and ex-wife over a custody issue at 7:16 p.m. Friday.
Deputies assisted a Richwood Police Officer with a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend at a residence on North Franklin Street at 10:52 p.m. Friday.
