Ashley Nicole King, 19, of Watkins Glen Circle was arrested for assault in the 900 block of Watkins Glen Circle at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate King was arrested after assaulting a roommate.
Police responded to a report of theft (shoplifting) in the 1000 block of N. Main Street at 6:27 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate items were stolen from Rural King.
Police responded to a report of theft of a motor vehicle in the 600 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 10:21 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate Honda Marysville reported a car missing from the lot.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 400 block of W. Third Street at 11:10 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate a key was found in a parking lot.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies were called to a residence in the 9200 block of Railroad Street in Arnold to investigate a child endangerment complaint at 12:02 a.m. Wednesday.
A deputy arrested Jenson M. Hecker, 28, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant when he turned himself in at the Sheriff’s Office at 8:52 a.m. Wednesday. He was taken to the Union County Common Pleas Court.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 32000 block of Route 37 to investigate a dispute between a court bailiff and the tenants at 11:32 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies met with a resident from the 21000 block of Raymond Road to investigate a harassment complaint involving an ex-boyfriend at 1:05 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies responded to the 18000 block of Route 4 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2014 Honda Accord that was struck from behind by a 2006 Honda Civic at 4:08 p.m. Wednesday. The driver of the Honda Civic, Carolyn J. Nichols, 59, of Marysville was issued a traffic citation for following too close.
Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire District, the Marysville Fire Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the 21000 block of Route 31 for an injury crash involving a 2014 BMW 545i that was struck from behind by a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee at 5:24 p.m. Wednesday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. The driver of the Jeep, Alexis C. Achor, 18, of West Mansfield was issued a traffic citation for following too close.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash involving a 2013 Honda Civic and a 2004 Acura TL that occurred at the Union County Fairgrounds on N. Main Street at 7:07 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy and units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District responded to the 13000 block of Route 47 for an injury crash involving a Honda Civic and a Ford F-250 at 7:29 p.m. Wednesday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. The Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 19000 block of West Darby Road for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 10:11 p.m. Wednesday.
