According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to an accident that occurred between a 2004 Jeep Liberty, 2003 Toyota and 2013 Honda on Route 38 at West Ninth Street Monday at 11:05 a.m. The Toyota and the Honda were stopped on Route 38 at a traffic light when the Jeep approached. The driver of the Jeep, Susan A. Hakola, 63, of Gallop Lane, said when the brakes were applied there was no pressure and the vehicle did not stop. The Jeep struck the Toyota driven by Jenna M. Maynard, 24, of Coventry Place, which then struck the Honda driven by Reta J. Carl, 69, of Retreat Lane. Hakola was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy met with a Gahanna Police Officer to take custody of Jamie J. Claar, 49, of Columbus, for an outstanding warrant Sunday at 1:28 a.m. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to U.S. 33 near Baker Road for a property damage crash involving a truck that rolled onto its side Sunday at 2:39 a.m.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 25000 block of Lunda Road to investigate a domestic dispute between a mother and daughter Sunday at 3:33 a.m.
Deputies responded to the 15000 block of Scottslawn Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2018 Ford Explorer that struck a deer Sunday at 6:34 a.m.
As a result of a traffic stop on Route 31 near Patrick Brush Run Road, a deputy charged Brian A. Miller Jr., 21, of Ashville, with possession of marijuana Sunday at 5:20 p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to a business on North Mill Street in Milford Center to investigate a domestic dispute between a male and female in the parking lot Sunday at 5:51 p.m.
A Union County Deputy met with a Hardin County Deputy to take custody of Christopher R. Rager, 33, of Kenton for an outstanding warrant Sunday at 8:15 p.m. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies responded to Route 4 south of Philip Herre Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2011 Ford F250 that was struck by a 2007 Dodge Nitro Monday at 12:55 p.m.
A deputy investigated a trespassing complaint that occurred at a property in the 19000 block of Westlake Lee Road Monday at 1:08 p.m.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 22000 block of Route 245 to investigate the theft of money Monday at 4:02 p.m.
A deputy and units from the Marysville Fire Department and the Marysville Police Department responded to a residence in the 19000 block of Northwest Parkway for an unresponsive person with CPR in progress Monday at 7 p.m. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy went to the Allen County Jail to take custody of Billy J. Johnson, 38, of Alger, for an outstanding warrant Monday at 11:33 p.m. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
