According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
As a result of a traffic stop on U.S. 33 near U.S. 42, a deputy arrested Geoffrey L. Baker, 32, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant from Cobb County, Georgia at 1:35 a.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to the Pickaway County Jail to take custody of Carissa N. Eckert, 34, of Williamsport for an outstanding arrest warrant at 10:39 a.m. Friday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Daniel P. Kandel, 40, of Plain City for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:25 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy arrested Crystal L. Stratton, 39, of Bellefontaine for an outstanding arrest warrant from the Bellefontaine Police Department of North Walnut Street at 2:32 p.m. Friday. She was transferred to the custody of a Bellefontaine Police officer.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 13000 block of Fels Boulevard to investigate damage to a mailbox that was caused by an unknown vehicle at 2:35 p.m. Friday.
A deputy investigated a domestic dispute that occurred between a husband and wife at a residence in the 20000 block of Peoria Loop Road at 2:40 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were sent to a business in the 7000 block of Route 161 for a person in the parking lot threatening self-harm at 2:51 p.m. Friday. The person was transported to Maryhaven by family members.
Deputies assisted Marysville Police Department officers with a domestic dispute that occurred in the 400 block of Terrace Drive at 5:17 p.m. Friday.
Deputies and units from the Union Township Fire Department responded to the 12000 block of Route 4 for an injury crash involving a 2012 Cadillac SRX that lost control, drove left of center and struck a 2012 Honda Odyssey at 6:15 p.m. Friday. The driver of the Cadillac, Alana L. Inskeep, 53, of Urbana was issued a traffic citation for driving left of center.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 8000 block of Ingraham Lane to investigate a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
As a result of a traffic stop on Clymer Road near the Union County Airport, a deputy arrested Nathan A. Benedum, 23, of Columus for operating a vehicle while under the influence at 7:10 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 9000 block of Watkins Road to investigate damage to three windows that was caused by a BB gun at 8:33 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 24000 block of Patrick Brush Run Road for a person threatening self-harm that had left the residence on foot at 11:04 p.m. Friday. The person returned to the residence.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 12000 block of Black Road to investigate a trespassing complaint at 11:31 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 18000 block of Allen Center Road to investigate a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend at 12:54 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy responded to the 23000 block of Route 739 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2011 Buick Regal that struck a deer at 10:40 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 15000 block of Route 347 to investigate a custody dispute at 2:40 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy was dispatched to a school in the 9000 block of Gardenia Drive to investigate the theft of a bookbag and a cell phone at 8:27 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 14000 block of Graham Jones Road to investigate a fight between two males at 11:22 p.m. Saturday.
While on patrol on U.S. 33 near U.S. 42, a deputy attempted to stop a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder for a traffic violation at 11:40 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle was eventually stopped on U.S. 33 near Route 4. The driver, Samuel C. Bailey, 48, of Columbus was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence, failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer and reckless operation at 11:40 p.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail. Units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Marysville Police Department assisted with the pursuit.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of Orchid Hill Drive to investigate the theft of a child’s scooter at 4:36 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 27000 block of Route 31 to investigate threatening phone calls that were received at 7:13 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate unwanted text and social media messages at 7:19 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to check on a person threatening self-harm at 9:53 p.m. Sunday. After further investigation, Kimberly S. Miller, 45, of Marysville was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
