Gene E. Brown, 47, of Raymond was cited for license forfeiture (child support – driving under suspension) in the 200 block of West Fifth Street at 10:57 a.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 200 block of Greenwood Boulevard at 12:43 p.m. Monday. The reporting person advised he had money taken from his apartment.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 800 block of Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard at 1:21 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate Home Depot employees reported theft of cash by an employee.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy investigated a property damage crash that occurred in the 14000 block of Industrial Parkway involving a 2019 Ford F-250 that struck a deer at 5:16 a.m. Monday.
A deputy responded to Happy Lane north of Miller Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2018 Subaru Outback that struck a deer at 5:47 a.m. Monday.
Deputies were dispatched to the 19000 block of Northwest Parkway to search for a runaway juvenile at 10:15 a.m. Monday. The juvenile was later located and returned to a parent.
Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire District and the Marysville Fire Department responded to the 20000 block of Route 31 for an injury crash involving a 2016 Volvo semi-truck that was struck from behind a 2023 Peterbilt semi-truck at 11:06 a.m. Monday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. The driver of the Peterbilt, John K. Clark, 55, of Grayson, Kentucky was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Deputies responded to the intersection of U.S. 42 and Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2014 GMC Sierra that struck the back of a 2019 Cadillac XTS at 12:15 p.m. Monday. The driver of the GMC, Kyle A. McKitrick, 36, of Delaware was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 15000 block of Fish Road to take possession of a package of checks at 1:30 p.m. Monday.
A deputy assisted a Union County Juvenile Probation Officer at a residence in the 14000 block of Pleasant Ridge Drive where drugs and drug paraphernalia were found in a backpack at 3:39 p.m. Monday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department, the Pleasant Valley Fire District and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to an injury crash in the 9900 block of Industrial Parkway at 4:41 p.m. Monday. The State Patrol investigated the crash.
Deputies responded to Route 31 north of Miller Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Kia Forte that struck the back of a 2017 Chevrolet Volt at 5:45 p.m. Monday. The driver of the Kia, Zachary S. Young, 28, of Lancaster was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Deputies were dispatched to a business in the 7000 block of Industrial Parkway for a person threatening self-harm at 7:19 p.m. Monday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 22000 block of Route 739 for a person threatening self-harm at 7:29 p.m. Monday.
A deputy and a Richwood Police Department officer were sent to a residence in the 18000 block of Route 739 to investigate a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend at 7:45 p.m. Monday.
A deputy met with a Grove City Police Department officer to take custody of Destiny R. Thompson, 24, of Newark for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:03 p.m. Monday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
