According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy responded to U.S. 33 near Honda Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2017 Ford Explorer that struck a deer at 2:26 a.m. Friday.
A deputy and units from the Marysville Fire Department were sent to a home in the 11000 block of Rausch Road for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 2:49 a.m. Friday.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to a correctional facility in the 18000 block of Route 4 for a fight involving two inmates at 8:45 a.m. Friday. After further investigation, Wesley D. Brammer, 27, of Marion was arrested for assault and transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail. The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy was sent to a business in the 14000 block of Smart Cole Road to investigate a bad check that was received at 9:16 a.m. Friday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 10000 block of Route 4 to investigate damage to a mailbox at 12:57 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was sent to a business in the 7000 block of Route 161 to investigate the theft of a laptop computer at 1 p.m. Friday.
A deputy and units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to U.S. 33 near the rest area for a property damage crash involving a 2016 Toyota Corolla that drove off the road, into a ditch and struck a fence at 4:07 p.m. Friday. The State Patrol investigated the crash.
A deputy was dispatched to a property in the 10000 block of Wasserbeck Road to investigate a possible fraudulent business transaction involving a tree service at 4:39 p.m. Friday.
A deputy responded to Raymond Road near Dog Log Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2007 Toyota RAV4 that struck a deer at 7:19 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was sent to the Allen County Jail to take custody of Antoine L. Roberson Jr., 29, of Lima for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:54 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies responded to the 21000 block of Route 47 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2021 Honda Accord that drove off the road and struck a guardrail at 10:15 p.m. Friday. The driver, Mackenzie N. Lewis, 21, of Richwood was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy met with a Whitehall Police Department officer to take custody of Shane A. Hay, 32, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:58 a.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Northwestern Fire District responded to property in the 26000 block of Route 31 to search for a missing juvenile at 8:23 a.m. Saturday. The child was later located.
A deputy took possession of a wallet that was found on Route 37 north of Richwood at 12:21 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of Santa Barbara Drive to investigate fraudulent credit card charges at 3:51 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to the intersection of Route 4 and Collins Avenue for an injury crash involving a 2021 Harley Davidson XL 1200 that lost control, causing the driver to be thrown from the motorcycle and into the back of a 2019 Harley Davidson Street Glide at 4:05 p.m. Saturday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy responded to the roundabout at Route 161 and Eiterman Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2008 Infiniti M35 and a 2010 Lexus ES350 at 4:19 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy responded to the 8000 block of Route 736 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Toyota RAV4 that was struck by a tree that fell into the roadway at 6:01 p.m. Saturday.
A Union County deputy met with a Logan County deputy to take custody of Mathew G. Urban, 27, of Bellefontaine for an outstanding arrest warrant at 7:29 p.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy investigated unwanted text messages that were received at a residence in the 14000 block of Graham Jones Road at 10:55 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies investigated a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and a girlfriend that occurred at a residence in the 23000 block of Route 31 at 12:30 a.m. Sunday. The parties were separated.
Deputies assisted the Dublin Police Department on U.S. 33 near U.S. 42 with a traffic stop and the recovery of a stolen 2018 Volvo XC9 that was taken from the City of Upper Arlington at 12:49 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 7000 block of Trailview Drive to investigate an extortion attempt involving photographs and a social media website at 1:44 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 14000 block of Smart Cole Road to investigate a trespassing complaint involving a custody exchange at 4:52 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Department officer to take custody of Pamela J. Armstrong, 67, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 6:08 p.m. Sunday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
