Herman Nienhaus, 55, of West Sixth Street was cited for criminal trespassing in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard at 6:16 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate Nienhaus “did knowingly enter inside Walmart after previously being trespassed in the 2019.”
Dominique Mykkel Augustine, 31, of Etna was cited for FRA/non-compliance suspension and fictitious plates on U.S. 33 at 8:18 a.m. Wednesday.
Shannon Maria Whittington, 39, of Reynoldsburg was cited for no operator’s license on U.S. 33 at 11:46 a.m. Wednesday.
Lucas M. Roby, 43, of West Seventh Street was cited for failure to appear in court, on Collins Avenue at 5:46 p.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a suicide attempt in the 100 block of Aspen Drive at 1:49 p.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of domestic violence in the 1300 block of Coleridge Boulevard at noon Wednesday. Reports indicate the “caller stated that her boyfriend hit her.”
Police responded to a report of telephone harassment in the 600 block of London Avenue at 1:01 p.m. Wednesday. The reporting person advised MPD she was receiving unwanted text messages from her ex.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
As a result of a traffic stop on U.S. 33 near Scottslawn Road, a deputy arrested Melvin O. Steward II, 28, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant from the Ohio State Highway Patrol at 1:25 a.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy responded to the 10000 block of U.S. 42 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2011 Ford E-350 that struck a 2017 Honda CR-V at 7:57 a.m. Wednesday. The driver of the Ford, Pedro Bolanos, 23, of Lewis Center was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 7000 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate the attempted theft of a 2005 Ford F-350 and damage to the vehicle’s steering column at 8:12 a.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was sent to a business in the 8000 block of Business Way to investigate the theft of a 2013 Aluma trailer containing three golf cars, a winch, a saw and two credit cards at 8:43 a.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 8000 block of Corporate Boulevard to investigate the theft of a 2005 Ford F-350 at 8:52 a.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was sent to a business in the 7000 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate the attempted theft of a 2003 Ford Excursion and damage to the vehicle’s steering column at 9:16 a.m. Wednesday.
A deputy took possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia that were found at a residence in the 22000 block of North Darby Coe Road at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of Winterberry Drive to investigate a dispute involving a rental property at 1:14 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy met with a Marysville Police Department officer to take custody of Andrew T. Phipps, 18, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant from Delaware County at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday. He was transferred to the custody of a Delaware County deputy.
