According to Marysville Police Department reports:
The Marysville Division of Police received the report of James J. Morris, 31, of Milford Center passed out behind the wheel on Thursday at 7:57 a.m. in the 1300 block of West 5th Street. He was arrested for driving under the influence.
Randy Wayne Smith Jr., 43, of Raymond was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be driving on an invalid license in the 800 block of Collins Avenue on Thursday at 12:22 p.m. He was arrested for driving without paying reinstatement fees in the 100 block of South Maple Street.
Caleb McCormick, 17, of Springwood Lane in Marysville and Derek Alan Johnson, 18, of Marysville were arrested in the 200 block of Plum Street about 8:30 p.m. on Thursday for use of tobacco and electronic cigarettes on city property, which is prohibited.
Van Mastin Mastin Ussery, 52, of the 1400 block of Carmel Drive reported high value outdoor speakers were left in his yard at 11:21 a.m. on Thursday.
Union County Memorial Hospital on London Avenue contacted the Marysville Police Department for an assist with a patient, Anthony Brett Pace, 57, of Richwood, not cooperating on Thursday at 6:03 p.m.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Joint Fire and EMS District responded to state Route 739 near Fields Road on Thursday at 4:55 a.m. to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2007 Chevrolet Aveo that lost control, drove off the side of the roadway, struck a culvert and then rolled over. The driver, Samuel O. Toland Jr., 19, of Marion was issued a citation for failure to control a motor vehicle, and a crash report was taken.
Deputies assisted the Marysville Police Department and the Marysville Fire Department with an injury crash in the 14000 block of Scottslawn Road on Thursday at 6:24 a.m. The Marysville Police Department handled the crash investigation.
Deputies were dispatched to a business in the 7600 block of Commerce Place to investigate a stolen 2018 RC Trailers utility trailer on Thursday at 8:10 a.m. The trailer was recovered by the Dublin Police Department, and a report was taken.
Deputies went to a residence in the 14000 block of state Route 739 for a welfare check on Thursday at 12:21 p.m. As a result, deputies transported the person to Memorial Hospital for an evaluation. No report was taken.
A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Ryan D. Beal, 41, of Hilliard for an outstanding arrest warrant on Thursday at 1:55 p.m. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy arrested Adam M. Alltop, 35, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at the Union County Courthouse on Thursday at 3:36 p.m. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy arrested Christoper D. Kelly, 36, of Lakeview for an outstanding arrest at the Union County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday at 4:11 p.m. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 16000 block of Middleburg Plain City Road on Thursday at 4:36 p.m. to investigate a report of threatening text messages. No report was taken.
Deputies were dispatched to a playground in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 for a report of juveniles playing with BB guns on Thursday at 6:19 p.m. A report was taken.
Deputies assisted the Jerome Township Fire Department with an electric pole fire on U.S. 42 near Watkins California Road on Thursday at 8:57 p.m. U.S. 42 was shut down for approximately an hour and a half. No report was taken.
