Christopher Glenn Hancock, 37, of Pinehurst Court was cited for domestic violence in the 800 block of Pinehurst Court at 10:25 a.m. Wednesday.
Egypt Marie Price, 26, of Columbus was cited for an FRA/non-compliance suspension and use of illegal license plates in the 16000 block of Allenby Drive at 12:26 p.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 400 block of Palm Drive at 1:27 a.m. Wednesday. The reporting person advised officers that an online friend from Scotland threatened to harm himself.
Police responded to a report of menacing by stalking in the 400 block of East Sixth Street at 5:25 a.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of a runaway juvenile (recovered) in the 200 block of North Maple Street at 8:36 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate a three-year-old boy was found in the parking lot of an apartment complex.
Police responded to a report of falsification and obstructing official business in the 16000 block of Square Drive at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate “two subjects admitted to lying during a police investigation.”
Police responded to a report of an assault in the 800 block of Amrine Mill Road at 12:53 p.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of drug abuse (marijuana) in the 18000 block of Route 4 at 3:17 p.m. Wednesday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies and units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Jerome Township Fire Department were dispatched to the U.S. 33 westbound rest area for a domestic dispute between a husband and a wife at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday. As a result of the investigation, Mickey W. Smith, 40, of Montgomery, Missouri was arrested for domestic violence. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy met with a resident form the 30000 block of Snare Road to investigate the unauthorized use of credit cards at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies took custody of Maurice C. Watson, 19, of Canal Winchester for an outstanding arrest warrant at the Union County Courthouse at 9:06 a.m. Wednesday. He was released on a recognizance bond.
Deputies took custody of Maurice A. Howell Jr., 18, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at the Union County Courthouse at 9:12 a.m. Wednesday. He was released on a recognizance bond.
A deputy arrested Jason B. Simmons, 42, of North Lewisburg for an outstanding arrest warrant from Champaign County at 11:33 a.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 14000 block of Sycamore Drive to investigate an attempted burglary at 1:08 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy responded to the intersection of U.S. 42 and Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Ford Escape that was struck from behind by a 2018 Ford Escape at 3:16 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies were sent to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Joshua S. Kinsell, 34, of Columbus and Christopher J. Zoeller, 39, of Columbus for outstanding arrest warrants at 9:21 p.m. Wednesday. They were both transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
