According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Robert Barrett Collins III, 29, of Dogwood Drive was cited for driving under suspension on North Main Street at 8:53 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from an incident in which Collin was stopped for driving without brake lights or tail lights on a motorcycle.
Police responded to a report of telecommunication harassment in the 200 block of North Cherry Street at 12:15 a.m. Monday. A male reported his Facebook account was hacked.
Police responded to a report of driving while under the influence, open liquor container and no operator’s license in the 100 block of East Fifth Street at 2:39 a.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of an individual passing a stopped school bus on Pearlash Drive at 8 a.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 400 block of Gallery Drive at 7:14 p.m. Monday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Hayley Nicole Grimes, 32, of Trophy Drive and a juvenile driver that occurred on Route 31 at 9:12 a.m. Monday. Reports indicate Grimes was stopped at a red light on Route 31 at Mill Wood Boulevard while the juvenile driver was directly behind her. The juvenile driver reportedly started to drive and struck the rear of Grimes’ vehicle, causing minor damage. The juvenile driver was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Raba Hussein Yousef, 48, of Mill Wood Boulevard and Dallus D. Smith, 32, of North Lewisburg that occurred on Delaware Avenue at 7:54 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate Yousef struck the rear of Smith’s vehicle while he was stopped in traffic. Yousef was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy was sent to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Tristen S. Metzger, 24, of Marion for an outstanding arrest warrant at 4:28 a.m. Monday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy and units from the Leesburg Township Fire Department, Marysville Fire Department, Scioto Township Fire Department, Northwestern Fire District, Northern Union County Fire and EMS District and the Delaware County EMS responded to a possible residential fire in the 22000 block of Springdale Road at 6:49 a.m. Monday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 21000 block of Raymond Road to locate a person threatening self-harm at 10:09 a.m. Monday. The person was found and transported to Maryhaven.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Douglas J. Murrell, 43, of Marion and Christopher M. Kraus, 48, of Dublin for bond violations at 12:39 p.m. Monday. They were transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and a Richwood Police Department officer went to a residence on East Blagrove Street in Richwood to arrest Kaitlyn M. Jones, 22, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 1:06 p.m. Monday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy investigated damage to a 2016 Kia Sedona that occurred while the vehicle was parked at a business in the 21000 block of Northwest Parkway at 1:56 p.m. Monday.
A deputy met with a resident from the 16000 block of Burns Road to investigate harassing phone calls and text messages at 2:27 p.m. Monday.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Amanda C. Gibson, 41, of Marion for a bond violation at 3:41 p.m. Monday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to the Multi-County Jail in Marion to take custody of Devin C. Pummell, 41, of Alger for an outstanding arrest warrant at 4:13 p.m. Monday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy responded to U.S. 33 near Mitchell Dewitt Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Ford Fusion that struck a deer at 8:33 p.m. Monday.
