According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy responded to the 24000 block of Sandusky Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox that struck a deer at 6:52 a.m. Wednesday.
A deputy and units from Jerome Township Fire Department responded to the U.S. 33 eastbound exit ramp to Route 161 to investigate an injury crash involving a 2018 Ford Focus that was struck from behind by a 2018 Ford F-450 at 7:28 a.m. Wednesday. One victim was transported to Dublin Methodist Hospital. The driver of the Ford F-450, Sean H. Toomey, 58, of Marysville was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
A deputy met with a resident form the 23000 block of Route 739 to investigate the theft of money involving a construction project at 1:13 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies assisted the Marysville Police Department with a person threatening self-harm at a residence in the 900 block of London Avenue at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy investigated damage to the window of a 1995 F-150 on South Main Street in Magnetic Springs at 2:57 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 18000 block of Raymond Road for an unruly juvenile at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday. After further investigation, the juvenile was arrested and transported to the Central Ohio Youth Center.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 for an unruly juvenile.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers responded to the scene of an accident involving Nicholas Zorich, 38, of Grove City and Nancy Ross, 72, of Irwin on Route 38 at Streng Road at 9:56 a.m. on Tuesday. Reports indicate Ross was traveling north on Streng Road and stopped at the stop sign at Route 38. Zorich was following Ross and rear-ended her vehicle, shoving it across Route 38 to the right of the berm. Zorich then skidded over the right berm of Streng Road before stopping in the ditch. Zorich did not sustain any injuries, but Ross experienced minor injuries and was transported to UCMH by Union Township. Zorich was cited for failure to control.
