From Police Reports:
Theft was reported at 8:05 p.m., Monday, by a juvenile in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street.
Police responded to the 500 block of Doral Court at 10:29 p.m., Monday in response to an attempted suicide by a juvenile.
Dustin Ewry, 36, was arrested at 2:12 p.m., Tuesday on a charge of license forfeiture for failure to pay child support.
From Sheriff’s Reports:
James C. Laird, 57, of Raymond, was arrested at 8:41 a.m., Tuesday, on an outstanding warrant. The arrest came after deputies were sent to the 18000 block of Wheeler Green Road, to check on a disabled vehicle.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash that occurred about 9:40 a.m., Tuesday in the 200 block of W. Sixth Street. A 2016 GMC Terrain was hit by an unknown vehicle that left the area.
A resident of the 28000 block of state Route 31 contacted deputies about 10:44 a.m., Tuesday to report a fraud. The caller said they were contacted by someone claiming to be from the Social Security administration and asking for gift cards.
A deputy was sent to a field on Middleburg-Plain City Road, near Buck Run Road, at 11:14 a.m., Tuesday, to investigate damage to a soybean field. The damage was caused by a motor vehicle that left the road and went into the field before leaving the scene.
