According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Stacey Chenault, 45, whose address is unlisted, was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the 100 block of Redwood Drive at 5:31 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate she was “arrested on several warrants out of several agencies.”
Police responded to a report of theft of a motor vehicle in the 300 block of N. Main Street at 9:22 a.m. Friday. The reporting person advised a U-Haul trailer was stolen.
Police responded to a report of shoplifting in the 100 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 10:09 a.m. Friday. The reporting person advised cologne and perfume were stolen from Walgreens between Sept. 21 and 23.
Police responded to a report of suicide attempt at 10:20 a.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of domestic violence on U.S. 33 at the U.S. 36 ramp at 11:56 a.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of a suicide threat in the 100 block of Pin Oak Drive at 11:34 a.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 16000 block of Square Drive at 10:27 p.m. Friday. The reporting person advised there was an altercation and an individual “brandished a gun.”
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Candace Joelle Ellis, 38, of Miami Drive that occurred on Chestnut Street at 12:38 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate Ellis was traveling eastbound on E. Ninth Street and fell asleep. She then traveled through the E. Ninth Street and Chestnut Street intersection and onto the property of 502 Chestnut Street, then struck the building. Reports indicate alcohol was a suspected factor in the crash. She did not experience any apparent injuries, but evaluated at the scene by Marysville Division of Fire and EMS. Ellis was cited for failure to control.
James E. Olson, 31, of Chillicothe was cited for possession of a drug abuse instrument in the 1500 block of W. Fifth Street at 12:54 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate the citation occurred after the subject was found “passed out in a public restroom.” A syringe was seized from the subject and disposed of by medics.
Aramis Jeremy Scranton, 30, of Grove City was cited for possession of a drug abuse instrument and driving under suspension in the 100 block of S. Plum Street at 7:43 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a “burnt red straw,” a red straw with black residue and tin foil were seized from the subject.
Christopher Dent, 39, whose address was unlisted, was cited for disorderly conduct in the 100 block of N. Main Street at 8:20 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate Dent was intoxicated and “removed from Fiesta Grande” before he was charged.
Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct in the 300 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 12:11 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a dispute occurred in the Arby’s parking lot. No charges were filed.
Katrina A. Davis, 45, of Woodcrest Drive was cited for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and possession of an open container in a vehicle on Industrial Parkway at 2:53 a.m. Sunday.
Aaron Miller, 21, of Poling Road was cited for illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1100 block of W. Fifth Street at 7:35 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate Miller was cited following a field interview of occupants in a car during which drug paraphernalia and THC were located.

Deputies responded to U.S. 33 near Barker Road for a property damage crash involving a 2004 Honda Civic that drove off the road and struck a culvert at 5:27 a.m. Friday. The driver, Sean A. Engel, 30, of Marion was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy responded to Yearsley Road near Powder Lick Road for a property damage crash involving a 2016 Jeep Cherokee that struck a deer at 7:40 a.m. Friday.
A deputy investigated a dispute between a property manager and a painting contractor that occurred at a business in the 7000 block of Industrial Parkway at 9:34 a.m. Friday.
Deputies arrested James R. Miller, 64, of Marysville for an outstanding warrant in the 600 block of East Sixth Street at 1:19 p.m. Friday. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash that occurred on Route 736 near Raintree Drive involving a piece of construction equipment that struck a 2017 Jeep Patriot at 7:37 p.m. Friday.
As a result of a traffic stop in the 32000 block of Water Street in Essex, a deputy arrested Terry E. Welsh, 66, of Richwood for operating a vehicle while under the influence at 7:57 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
As a result of a traffic stop on U.S. 33 near Beecher Gamble Road, a deputy arrested Bridget M. Hollingshead, 42, of Irwin for operating a vehicle while under the influence at 8:10 p.m. Friday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 7300 block of Weldon Road for a person threatening self-harm at 10:11 p.m. Friday. The person was transported to Dublin Methodist Hospital.
A Union County deputy met with a Delaware County deputy to take custody of Cory J. Painter, 26, of New Bloomington for an outstanding arrest warrant at 12:14 a.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
As a result of a traffic stop on U.S. 33 near U.S. 36, a deputy arrested Jerry K. Johnson IV, 31, of Columbus for operating a vehicle while under the influence at 1:42 a.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Officer to take custody of Derl H. Honacher, 48, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 3:53 a.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and officers from the Marysville Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 18000 block of Barker Road for a domestic fight between a father and son at 10:54 a.m. Saturday. After further investigation, Stefan M. Kutney, 26, of Marysville was arrested for domestic violence. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate threatening text messages at 4:49 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy responded to the intersection of Route 347 and Route 31 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Hyundai Sonata that was struck by a 2016 Ford Focus at 5:16 p.m. Saturday. The driver of the Ford, Betty J. Stockwell, 80, of Richwood was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign.
Deputies assisted a Plain City Police Officer with an intoxicated person causing a disturbance at a residence on North Avenue in Plain City at 9:15 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Union Township Fire Department and the Marysville Fire Department responded to the 18000 block of Middleburg Plain City Road for a property damage crash involving a 2007 BMW 328i that lost control, drove off the road and struck a utility pole at 12:21 a.m. Sunday. The driver, Sophia A. Lytle, 19, of Gahanna was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 16000 block of Robinson Road for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 4:29 p.m. Sunday. The person was transported to Maryhaven.
A deputy investigated a trespassing complaint that occurred at a property in the 24000 block of Route 347 at 4:43 p.m. Sunday.
While investigating a driving complaint on U.S. 33 near U.S. 42, a deputy stopped a 2013 Kia Sorento that was driving erratically at 8:33 a.m. Sunday. The driver, Donald S. Moshos, 72, of Bellefontaine was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
A trooper stopped a 2017 Ford pick-up truck driven by James Deboard, 53, of Plain City at 1:55 a.m. Saturday for a traffic violation on Tailor Road near Crottinger Road. After contact, Deboard refused field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Deboard refused to provide a breath test and was later released.
A trooper stopped a 1999 Toyota sedan driven by Brian Sherer, 38, of Zanesfield on U.S. 33 near mile post 16 for a speed violation (95 mph in a 70 mph zone) at 9 p.m. Saturday. Upon further investigation, Sherer was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and cited for speeding and possession of marijuana. Sherer tested a 0.173 BAC and was later released to a family member.
