According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Zahra Kamal Abdalla, 30, of Meadows Drive was cited for contributing to the unruliness/delinquency of a child in the 600 block of Meadows Drive at 4:29 p.m. Tuesday.
Police responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 1200 block of Shetland Street at 10:23 p.m. Tuesday. The reporting person advised that a suspicious female claimed she was working with ADT and requested to check her home for a new security system.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Johnny R. Petross, 64, of Stable Street that occurred on Clydesdale Way at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate a vehicle was parked in front of a residence on Clydesdale Way. As Petross was approaching the residence, he reportedly did not see the other vehicle because of the sun and struck the car. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. No citations were listed at the time of the police report.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Marc Alan Marshall, 33, of Route 347 and Brooklynn Renee Denise Beall, 22, of Columbus that occurred on N. Main Street at W. Fourth Street at 5:37 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate Marshall was stopped in the roadway, facing south on N. Main Street. Beall struck his vehicle from behind while he was stopped. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Beall was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy investigated a crash at the intersection of U.S. 42 and North Street involving a semi-truck tire striking a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country at 10:43 a.m. Tuesday. Michael P. Kruse, 43, of Boston, Indiana was issued a traffic citation for operating an unsafe motor vehicle.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to an injury crash at the intersection of Route 4/U.S. 36 and Payne Road involving a 2006 Mitsubishi that struck a 2019 Ford F-150 at 11:16 a.m. Tuesday. Two patients were transported to Memorial Hospital. Ryan D. Gruenbaum, 19, of Marysville was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign.
A deputy was sent to a business in the 24000 block of Honda Parkway to resolve a dispute between an employer and employee at 11:25 a.m. Tuesday.
A deputy investigated harassing messages being received at a residence in the 5400 block of Gordon Way at 12:54 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy went to a residence in the 11000 block of Santa Barbara Drive to speak with a resident threatening self-harm at 2:57 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Officer to take custody of Riyaan A. Mire, 25, of Galloway for an outstanding arrest warrant at 5:24 p.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
