Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 400 block of Allenby Drive at 2:53 a.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of identity theft in the 500 block of Grace Drive at 9:58 a.m. Monday. The reporting person advised that someone attempted to file for unemployment with his Social Security Number.
Police responded to a report of drug abuse on W. Sixth Street at S. Maple Street at 1:02 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate a traffic stop and positive K9 alert led to suboxone being located in the stopped vehicle.
Police responded to a report of identity theft in the 100 block of Mulberry Street at 1:24 p.m. Monday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Ronald E. Price, 81, of Pinehurst Court and Wanda L. Norris, 64, of North Lewisburg that occurred on Collins Avenue at Grove Street at 10:38 a.m. Monday. Reports indicate Price was stopped at a stop sign on Grove Street at Collins Avenue, facing south. Norris was stopped for the stop sign on Collins Avenue at Grove Street, facing east. Both units proceeded through the intersection and Norris’ front passenger side bumper struck Price’s passenger side rear wheel and bumper. Reports indicate fault was unable to be determined and no citations are listed. Neither driver was injured as a result of the incident.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a hit-skip driver that occurred on Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 6:52 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate a vehicle was struck by an unknown driver while parked in a business parking lot.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy responded to the intersection of Hillview Road and Wolford Maskill Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2007 Sterling semi-truck that backed into a 2013 Ford Escape at 10:11 a.m. Friday. The driver of the Sterling, Stacy Woodford Jr., 56, of Reynoldsburg was issued a traffic citation for improper starting and backing.
A deputy went to the Delaware County Jail to take custody of Gregory J. Yant, 23, of Delaware for an outstanding arrest warrant at 12:13 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 13000 block of Trout Road to investigate identity theft involving fraudulently obtained credit card accounts and unemployment benefits at 12:17 p.m. Friday.
A Union County deputy met with a Logan County deputy to take custody of Eric L. Hamilton, 44, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:49 p.m. Friday. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 11000 block of Route 47 to investigate damage to a yard that caused by a vehicle that left the scene at 4:18 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 23000 block of Route 4 for a domestic dispute between a male and female at 5:20 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 22000 block of Route 4 to investigate the theft of a political sign at 6:17 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 25000 block of Route 31 to investigate a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend at 11:15 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 25000 block of Route 31 for a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and a girlfriend at 7:08 a.m. Saturday. The parties were separated.
A deputy was sent to a business in the 7300 block of Route 161 to investigate the theft of speakers and electronic toothbrushes at 11:07 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy investigated a dispute between an ex-employee and a business that occurred in the 8200 block of Industrial Parkway at 11:47 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy met with a Marysville Police Officer to take custody of Debbie S. Poe, 32, of Richwood for an outstanding arrest warrant at 1:32 p.m. Saturday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 17000 block of Miller Road for a domestic dispute between several family members at 2:20 p.m. Saturday. As a result of the investigation, James A. Lowry, 57, of Richwood was arrested for domestic violence. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 9800 block of Route 4 to investigate a domestic dispute between two brothers at 3:02 p.m. Saturday. As a result of the investigation, James P. Roberts, 31 of Irwin was arrested for domestic violence. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to a business in the 10000 block of U.S. 42 to investigate an assault at 5:17 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy and units from the Allen Township Fire Department were dispatched to a business in the 24000 block of Honda Parkway for a person threatening self-harm at 7:34 p.m. Saturday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
Deputies assisted to the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Marysville Police Department with a vehicle pursuit that began on U.S. 33 near Scottslawn Road and ended on Route 31 at 2:54 a.m. Sunday.
Deputies responded to Sandusky Road west of Kinney Pike to investigate a property damage crash involving a 1998 GMC truck that lost control, drove off the road and rolled over at 12:14 p.m. Sunday. The driver, Joseph S. Stiles, 37, of Columbus was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
As a result of a traffic stop in the 10000 block of U.S. 42, deputies recovered a loaded handgun from a 2018 Toyota sedan.
Deputies investigated the theft of a purse that was taken from an unlocked vehicle that was parked at a residence in the 16000 block of Hillview Road at 4:52 a.m. Monday.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash that occurred on Route 31 near Brown School Road involving a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer that struck a deer at 6:43 a.m. Monday.
A deputy went to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Michael L. Payne, 59, of Columbus for a bond violation at 9:02 a.m. Monday. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies assisted the Richwood Police Department with an overdose on South Clinton Street in Richwood at 9:34 a.m. Monday. Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 16000 block of Hunters Run for a domestic dispute between a grandmother and a grandson at 11:43 a.m. Monday. One person was transported to Maryhaven.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 18000 block of Poling Road to investigate a possible burglary at 11:47 a.m. Monday.
A deputy was dispatched to the area of Boundary Road and Fish Daum Road to investigate damage to a farm field caused by two trucks that left the scene at 2:38 p.m. Monday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 17000 block of Paver Barnes Road to investigate unwanted text messages at 3:46 p.m. Monday.
