Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions on E. Fourth Street at North Main Street at 7:34 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate one of the floats in the homecoming parade threw out Daytime Cold and Flu medicine.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Dustin G. Starkey, 31, of Orient for a probation violation at 12:11 a.m. Wednesday.
A deputy responded to the 14000 block of Route 347 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2018 Honda CR-V that struck a deer at 5:04 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department and the Pleasant Valley Joint Fire District responded to a business in the 8100 block of Corporate Boulevard to investigate a gas line that was struck and was leaking at 10:39 a.m. Wednesday.
A deputy and a Richwood Police Officer went to a residence in the 300 block of Race Road to arrest Joshua M. Heller, 39, of Hoytville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 1:07 p.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy and units from the Southeast Hardin Northwest Union County Joint Fire District and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to Route 31 near Rushsylvania Road to investigate an injury crash involving a 2010 Ford Taurus that struck a deer at 9:22 p.m. Wednesday. The Ohio State Patrol handled the crash investigation.
