According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Mark Russell Steffen, 52, of E. Seventh Street and Prince Kwadwo Amponsah, 52, of Sharon Green Drive that occurred on Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 12:10 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate Steffen, a pedestrian, was unloading an item out of his vehicle onto a flat-bed cart in the Walgreens parking lot. Amponsah struck the cart, causing the cart to strike Steffen and causing an injury to his ankle. No citations are listed as a result of the incident.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Rose Street in Magnetic Springs for a report of a dispute between roommates in which one roommate allegedly threatened the other with a baseball bat at 12:09 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy responded to the intersection of Route 38 southbound and Route 161 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2018 Honda Civic that missed the stop sign due to fog and ran off the roadway into a field at 2:23 a.m. Thursday.
Deputies went to Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky to take custody of Gina E. Blevins, 42, of Kentucky for an outstanding arrest warrant at 9:54 a.m. Thursday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies assisted the Plain City Police Department with an injury crash that occurred on East Main Street near Old State Route 161 at 10:34 a.m. Thursday.
Deputies were dispatched to New California Drive near U.S. 42 to locate a suspicious male in the neighborhood at 1:39 p.m. Thursday. Deputies located Michael L. Hansford, 47, of Satellite Beach, Florida and after further investigation they arrested him on an outstanding warrant out of the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to a business in the 10000 block of Streng Road to investigate a breaking and entering incident in which miscellaneous fishing tackle items were stolen.
A deputy went to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Jonathan R. Wurtsbaugh, 37, of Richwood for a bond violation at 4:08 p.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy went to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Luke J. Kunkle, 26, of Richwood and Joseph O. Asumadu, 22, of Newark for bond violations at 4:38 p.m. Thursday. They were transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate a juvenile complaint at 5:19 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies went to a residence in the 7500 block of Nature Way to investigate a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend at 5:48 p.m. Thursday. The parties were separated.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 30000 block of Alder Road for a report of a person threatening self-harm at 8:13 p.m. Thursday.
