According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Christopher James Wayne Cook, 26, of Richwood was cited at the Tri-County Regional Jail for theft and disrupting public service (mass communications service). Reports indicate the citations stemmed from an Oct. 2 incident in which an assault was reported at a local hotel.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 2:26 p.m. Monday.
Police responded to a suicide threat in the 700 block of S. Walnut Street at 7:02 p.m. Monday.

Deputies responded to the 10000 block of U.S. 42 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Mazda 6 that struck a deer at 1:15 a.m. Friday.
A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Kristy J. Schneider, 44, of Grove City for a probation violation at 1:16 a.m. Friday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy and units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Dublin Police Department responded to the roundabout on Route 161 at Eiterman Road for a property damage crash involving a 2019 Infinity QX6 and a 2015 Peterbilt truck at 7:35 a.m. Friday. The Dublin Police Department investigated the crash.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash that occurred on U.S. 42 near Industrial Parkway involving a 2009 Kia Rio and a 2013 Honda Accord at 7:39 a.m. Friday.
A deputy arrested Krystal N. May, 34, of Marysville and Seraphina L. Bailey, 37, of Powell when they turned themselves in at the Sheriff’s Office for outstanding arrest warrants at 10:40 a.m. Friday. Both were taken to the Union County Common Pleas Court.
A deputy met with a resident from the 9200 block of Route 4 to investigate a computer scam involving a ransomware attack that resulted in the theft of money from gift cards at 11:11 a.m. Friday.
A deputy responded to the 12000 block of Hickory Ridge Road for a minor injury crash involving a 2020 Ford Transit van that was struck by a 2015 Lincoln MKZ at 2:41 p.m. Friday. The Lincoln then drove off the road and struck a mailbox and a tree. The driver of the Ford, Derrick L. Clarett, 48, of Columbus was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way when turning left.
A deputy responded to the 9900 block of U.S. 42 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Mack dump truck that was struck by a 1998 Chevrolet Malibu at 3:56 p.m. Friday. The driver of the Chevrolet, Christopher J. Siler, 28, of Cincinnati was issued a traffic citation for improper passing.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to the 5400 block of Gordon Way for a vehicle fire at 7:52 p.m. Friday.
A deputy responded to White Stone Road south of Kaiser Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado that struck a deer at 8:21 p.m. Friday.
A deputy met with a Hilliard Police Department officer to take custody of Heather M. Rollins, 30, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 12:57 a.m. Saturday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 9800 block of Durban Road to investigate a trespassing complaint at 8:22 a.m. Saturday.
As a result of a traffic stop on U.S. 33 west of U.S. 42, a deputy arrested Matthew R. Dawson, 60, of Bucyrus for an outstanding arrest warrant from Marion County at 1:45 p.m. Saturday. He was turned over to a Marion County deputy.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 7500 block of Greenridge Loop to investigate an unruly juvenile complaint at 1:42 a.m. Sunday.
Deptuies were dispatched to a residence in the 13000 block of Weaver Road to investigate a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend at 2:40 a.m. Sunday.
A deputy met with a Westerville Police Department officer to take custody of Harley J. Evans, 36, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:13 p.m. Sunday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department responded to U.S. 33 near Honda Parkway for a property damage crash involving a 2011 Hyundai Elantra that lost control, drove off the road and rolled over onto its top at 2:59 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 26000 block of Kinney Pike to investigate an unruly juvenile complaint at 8:21 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy was sent to the Allen County Jail in Indiana to take custody of Calvin C. Thomas III, 31, of Fort Wayne, Indiana for an outstanding arrest warrant at 9:34 a.m. Monday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy responded to Industrial Parkway near Old Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Kenworth propane truck that struck a 2014 Lexus RX350 at 12:49 p.m. Monday. The driver of the Kenworth, Dadimos M. Negewo, 49, of Canal Winchester was issued a traffic citation for failure to drive in marked lanes.
A deputy met with a resident from the 11000 block of Route 4 to investigate the theft of a check that was stolen from a vehicle at 3:47 p.m. Monday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of Hoskins Road to investigate attempted fraud involving the victim’s bank account at 6:39 p.m. Monday.
As a result of a traffic stop on U.S. 33 near U.S. 42, a deputy took possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia that were found in a vehicle at 6:52 p.m. Monday.
A deputy responded to the 21000 block of Northwest Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Freightliner semi-truck that drove off the road, into a ditch and struck a traffic sign at 7:13 p.m. Monday.
