According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Rylan Lester John, 18, of U.S. 36 was arrested on a warrant service arrest in the 600 block of E. Sixth Street at 1:28 a.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of drug abuse in the 100 block of Hemlock Drive at 1:37 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate Adult Probation officers located possible narcotics.
Police responded to a report of vandalism at a business property in the 1000 block of W. Fifth Street at 5:03 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate an “unknown white male” broke the rear electrical box and fled on foot.
Police responded to a report of juvenile offenses in the 500 block of Doral Court at 6:25 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate a juvenile took their parent’s vehicle without permission and was missing.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Robert Arnold, 62, of Collins Avenue and Shawn Davis, 50, of Raymond that occurred on Delaware Avenue at 3:04 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate Arnold was slowing to turn into 850 Delaware Avenue and was rear-ended by Davis. Davis was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries as a result of the incident.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Epiphany Chanel Davis, 31, of Windmill Drive and Kelly B. Segner, 47, of Restoration Drive that occurred on Collins Avenue at Grove Street at 7:48 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate both drivers were traveling east on Collins Avenue. Segner stopped at the stop sign at Grove Street and Davis struck the rear of her vehicle. Segner’s vehicle reported “suffered disabling damage and was towed.” Davis was cited for following too closely. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries as a result of the incident.

Deputies met with a Marysville Police Officer to take custody of Rylan L. Ayers, 18, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 12:49 a.m. Monday. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to U.S. 33 near Paver Barnes Road for a property damage crash involving a 2010 Chevrolet Impala that drove off the road, through the median and into a ditch at 1:58 a.m. Monday. The driver, Anthony J. Fletcher, 29, of Bellefontaine was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy met with a Union County Adult Probation Officer to take custody of Joseph O. Asumadu, 22, of Newark for a bond violation at 12:19 p.m. Monday. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy responded to the 21000 block of Cotton Slash Road for a property damage crash involving a 2007 Dodge Ram that struck a mailbox at 2:55 p.m. Monday.
As a result of a traffic stop on U.S. 33 east of Mitchell Dewitt Road, a deputy arrested Douglas C. Miller, 62, of Celina for operating a vehicle while under the influence at 4:05 p.m. Monday. He was transported to the Plain City Police Department.
Deputies were sent to U.S. 36 near Mackan Road to investigate an erratic driving complaint at 4:29 p.m. Monday. The suspect vehicle was located in the City of Marysville and the driver, Wayne N. Vanbrimmer, 46, of Marysville was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were sent to a residence on Greenfield Drive in Milford Center for a person making threats of self-harm at 4:51 p.m. Monday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 21000 block of Lingrell Road to investigate a vehicle break-in and the theft of a backpack at 5:11 p.m. Monday.
Deputies and units form the Allen Township Fire Department and the Northeast Champaign County Fire District responded to Route 245 near West Darby Road for a property damage crash involving a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu that drove off the road and into a farm field at 7:45 p.m. Monday. The driver, Robert C. Schmenk, 27, of Kalida was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to route 4 near Collins Avenue for a property damage crash involving a 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis that drove off the road and into a ditch at 11:29 p.m. Monday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. The driver, Georgia M. Picklesimer, 83, of Milford Center was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
