According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Matthew Curtis Phipps, 29, of Westerville was arrested on a warrant service arrest in the 300 block of W. Ninth Street at 2:17 a.m. Friday. He was later charged with drug abuse; possession or use of a controlled substance at 3:56 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate Phipps was stopped on a traffic stop and found to have a warrant out of Union County. After conducting a vehicle search, officers found a green pipe containing burnt marijuana, a “red poker chip looking grinder” containing remnants of marijuana and a lanyard with a small black case that contained a folded receipt with an “orange strip” and a single red Sudaphed pill in a wrapper. Also in the car, officers found blank checks in a manila folder and a small green notebook containing credit card information, phone numbers and an FNB bank card belonging to another individual with an expiration date of 10/18. The vehicle was also found to be stolen out of Plain City. The vehicle was towed and a Union County deputy arrived on scene and took possession of Phipps.
Lea J. Andrews, 41, of E. Fourth Street was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 100 block of N. Main Street at 2:30 a.m. Friday.
Brooklyn Nicole Bowen, 24, of Northcrest Drive was arrested on a warrant service arrest in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 4:03 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 300 block of W. Ninth Street at 1:32 a.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 300 block of Wind Mill Drive at 12:16 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate a possible theft of groceries by using the “Instacart” app.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a juvenile and Todd D. Wise, 54, of Columbus on Delaware Avenue at U.S. 33 at 9:57 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate the juvenile was traveling eastbound on Delaware Avenue, going through the light at U.S. 33. Wise was heading westbound on Delaware Avenue and turning left at the same light. Wise failed to yield to the juvenile and struck his vehicle. No injuries were reported between the drivers. Wise was cited for failing to yield the right of way when turning.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Shawn Aron Bowers, 19, of Irwin and Wyatt Burge, 21, of Oxford Drive on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard at E. Fifth Street at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Reports indicate Bowers let off his brake to begin moving and rear ended Burge. No injuries were reported between the drivers. Bowers was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
William Miller, 57, of Richwood was arrested on a warrant service arrest at 4:45 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate officers were at a residence in Richwood investigating a report of a theft, where Miller was present and found to have an active warrant through Union County Sheriff’s Office.
Marcus Ty Taylor, 32, of N. Cherry Street was arrested on a warrant service arrest in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 7:04 a.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 800 block of Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard at 10:07 a.m. Sunday. Reports indicate a phone was found in Home Depot.
Police responded to a report of theft and criminal damaging in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 11:26 a.m. Sunday.

A deputy was sent to a residence in the 26000 block of Snediker Road to investigate a report of stolen hay bales at 6:17 a.m. Friday.
Deputies were sent to residence in the 13000 block of Watkins Road to investigate a report of a hit skip property damage crash involving an unknown vehicle that struck a mailbox at 8:48 a.m. Friday.
A deputy spoke with an employee from a business in the 900 block of London Avenue in reference to receiving possible threats from a client at 9:51 a.m. Friday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 23000 block of Route 739 to investigate a report of telecommunications harassment by an ex-employee at 10:25 a.m. Friday.
A deputy spoke to a resident from Greenfield Drive in Milford Center to investigate a report of identity theft at 2:10 p.m. Friday.
A deputy spoke to a resident from the 16000 block of Burns Road to investigate a report of identity theft at 2:52 p.m. Friday.
A deputy went to a residence in the 9000 block of New California Drive to investigate a report of motorbikes trespassing in the area at 5:10 p.m. Friday.
Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department, the Liberty Township Fire Department, the Marysville Division of Fire, the Northeast Champaign County Fire District, the Perry Township Fire Department, the Pleasant Valley Fire District and the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to a residence in the 21000 block of Northwest Parkway for a barn fire at 7:27 p.m. Friday.
A deputy went to the Montgomery County Jail to take custody of Paige S. Pollard, 31, of Dayton for an outstanding arrest warrant at 11:24 p.m. Friday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies, along with the Marysville Police Department and the Plain City Police Department went to the area of the 900 block of Columbus Avenue in response to a report of a possible impaired driver at 1:21 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy went to the Multi-County Regional Jail to take custody of Hayden Michael Fisher, 24, of Marion for an outstanding arrest warrant at 7:22 a.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy went to the intersection of Route 736 and U.S. 42 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2007 Ford Fusion that struck a 2013 Ford F150 at 10:51 a.m. Saturday. Kaitlyn Ann Troth, 18, of Mechanicsburg was issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead.
A deputy went to the 10000 block of Moreland Way to investigate a report of identity theft at 12:59 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy went to the intersection of Eiterman Road and Route 161 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer that struck a light pole at 3:17 p.m. Saturday. Richard William Ryden McCafferty, 16, of Wapakoneta was issued a citation for failure to control.
A deputy went to the 7000 block of Highfield Drive to investigate possible theft of belongings by a moving company at 8:26 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies went to the 21000 block of Raymond Road to investigate a report of an assault at 9:52 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy went to the 32000 block of Wellwood Road to investigate a custody dispute at 10:15 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 19000 block of Delaware County Line Road to investigate the theft of three five-gallon cans of gasoline at 9:25 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 19000 block of Poling Road to investigate a littering complaint at 3:35 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies were dispatched to the area of Highland Drive and Westwood Drive to investigate a possible burglary in progress at the new build apartments at 6:21 p.m. Sunday. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the subjects were employees of the construction company moving supplies and equipment from one location to another.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate a dispute between neighbors at 6:36 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy was dispatched to Poling Road near Boord Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2014 Jeep Cherokee that struck a deer at 8 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy was dispatched to U.S. 33 near U.S. 42 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta that struck a deer at 8:19 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy was dispatched to the 8000 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Honda Civic that struck a deer at 9:29 p.m. Sunday.
