Police responded to a report of theft without consent in the 900 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 10:15 a.m. Friday. The reporting person advised a credit card was stolen and used a business on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 700 block of E. Fourth Street at 9:44 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate an individual advised checks were stolen from her.
Police responded to a death investigation in the 300 block of W. Third Street at 11:40 a.m. Friday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Morgan Moody, 18, of Timber Lane that occurred on W. Seventh Street at 9:03 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate Moody backed into an unoccupied vehicle. No citations are listed in the incident report.
Scott D. Robinson, 52, of West Third Street was cited for driving while under the influence in the 400 block of W. Third Street at 9:08 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from an incident in which MPD was dispatched to the Old Bag of Nails on the report of a hit-skip accident. Upon the officer’s arrival, he spoke with an employee of the restaurant who stated that someone deliberately struck his vehicle. He told the officer that Robinson “had just quit today due to having his hours cut down.” The officer located Robinson at his residence.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 16000 block of Square Drive at 12:24 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate MPD responded to a dispute.
Police conducted a well-being check in the 300 block of Terrace Court at 4:22 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a female was reported missing.
Police responded to a report of burglary, theft and criminal damaging in the 500 block of Linden Street at 11:45 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a resident advised that “known persons” entered his home and damaged and removed property.
Police responded to a report of a dog bite involving a 14-year-old victim that occurred in the 1300 block of Woodline Drive at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of Hillcrest Circle at 3:40 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a “woman hit a pedestrian with her vehicle while going around her.”
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Stephanie Johanna Brooks, 37, of Ostrander and a juvenile driver that occurred on Delaware Avenue at Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard at 8:14 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate Brooks entered Delaware Avenue from the north and was traveling eastbound. The juvenile driver entered Delaware Avenue from the south, left the right lane to enter the left lane and struck Brooks’ vehicle. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. The juvenile driver was cited for not driving in marked lanes.
Police responded to a report of an individual driving while under the influence in the 1400 block of Village Drive at 2:25 a.m. Sunday. No citations are listed.
Police responded to a report of a dispute in the 100 block of Sumac Drive at 3:39 p.m. Sunday.
Police responded to assist another agency in the 17000 block of Route 31 at 8:40 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate MPD was called in reference to a 14-year-old who had overdosed.

A deputy responded to Route 347 near Wolford Maskill Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2003 Ford F-150 that struck a deer at 5 a.m. Friday.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 8000 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate the possible theft of a 2019 Ford Transit van at 10:20 a.m. Friday.
Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department responded to U.S. 33 east of Route 739 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2005 Acura TL that drove off the right side of the road and into a ditch at 10:58 a.m. Friday. The driver, Blayne R. Johnson, 20, of Marysville was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Marcus W. Douglas, 27, of Columbus for a bond violation at 11:45 a.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 23000 block of Morse Road to investigate possible identity theft involving computers and cell phones at 12:34 p.m. Friday.
A deputy and an officer from the Richwood Police Department investigated a dispute between an ex-husband and an ex-wife involving the possession of a laptop computer that occurred at a residence in the 30000 block of Alder Road at 6:08 p.m. Friday.
A deputy met with an officer from the Washington Township Police Department to take custody of Dominick M. Miller, 22, of North Lewisburg for an outstanding arrest warrant at 7:59 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
While investigating a driving complaint on Route 31 north of Route 347, a deputy stopped the suspect vehicle and arrested the driver, Jason T. Winfield, 26, of Ashland, Kentucky for operating a vehicle while under the influence at 8:28 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a business in the 8000 block of Estates Parkway to investigate the fraudulent purchase of three fake cell phones at 11:41 a.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department responded to Route 245 near West Darby Road for an injury crash involving a 2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser that lost control, drove off the road and into a ditch at 12:15 p.m. Saturday. The driver, Melissa J. Johnson, 53, of West Liberty was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 29000 block of Snare Road to investigate a fraudulent email scam at 12:34 p.m. Saturday.
While investigating a driving complaint, a deputy stopped the suspect vehicle in the parking lot of a business in the 10000 block of U.S. 42 at 5:19 p.m. Saturday. The driver, Juan E. Arvizu, 29, of Columbus was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence. He was transported to the Plain City Police Department.
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District responded to the intersection of Route 4 and Langstaff Road for a property damage crash involving a 2002 Ford Focus that struck the back of a 2018 Nissan Maxima at 7:31 p.m. Saturday. The driver of the Ford, Joseph A. Greene, 19, of New Bloomington was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to a residence in the 15000 block of Jolly Road for a person that was found deceased in the home at 7:51 p.m. Saturday. The Union County Coroner was called to the scene and a report was taken.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 23000 block of Route 245 to investigate a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at 10:23 p.m. Saturday. The parties were separated.
Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire District responded to the 19000 block of Route 31 for an injury crash involving a 2009 Nissan Murano that drove off the road, struck a utility pole and overturned at 12:26 a.m. Sunday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. The driver, DeWaughn Morgan, 24, of Columbus was issued a traffic citation for operating a vehicle without a valid license.
As a result of a traffic stop in the 20000 block of Route 4, a deputy arrested Kyle A. Moulton, 25, of Marysville for operating a vehicle while under the influence at 1:36 a.m. Sunday. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 13000 block of Hinton Mill Road for an unruly juvenile at 11:59 a.m. Sunday.
Deputies and a Plain City Police Department Officer responded to the intersection of Route 161 and Middleburg Plain City Road for a property damage crash involving a 2016 Ford F-150 that was struck by a 2012 Honda Pilot at 3:26 p.m. Sunday. The driver of the Ford, John E. Mercer, 88, of Plain City was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign.
Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire District were dispatched to a residence in the 21000 block of Main Street in Raymond for a person who attempted self-harm at 5:04 p.m. Sunday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy met with a Bellefontaine Police Department Officer to take custody of Bradley D. Fout, 44, of Union for an outstanding arrest warrant at 6:11 p.m. Sunday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence on West Catherine Street in Magnetic Springs to investigate a dispute between an ex-husband and ex-wife at 6:32 p.m. Sunday.
