According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of a theft in the 500 block of W. Seventh Street at 1:07 p.m. Monday.
Police responded to assist another agency in the 100 block of S. Walnut Street at 7:27 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate MPD responded to assist with a report of a fire in the area.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a hit-skip driver that occurred on Lydia Drive at Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 6:25 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate an unknown driver struck a vehicle and left the scene without exchanging information.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Kevin Tilley, 54, of Hilliard and Mary Merriman, 33, of Raymond that occurred on Collins Avenue at Hickory Drive at 8:04 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate Tilley was traveling westbound on Collins Avenue and lost a tire. The tire then struck the front bumper of Merriman’s vehicle. No injuries or citations were listed at the time of the report.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy responded to U.S. 33 west of Beecher Gamble Road for a property damage crash involving a 2020 Honda CR-V that struck a deer at 9:07 a.m. Monday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 20000 block of Westlake Lee Road to investigate the theft of a political flag at 2:15 p.m. Monday.
A deputy was sent to a school in the 9000 block of Gardenia Drive to investigate a property damage crash involving two school buses at 6:55 p.m. Monday.
Deputies responded to U.S. 33 near U.S. 42 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2007 Honda Civic that was struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene at 8:07 p.m. Monday.
