Police responded to a report of criminal damaging in the 100 block of Poplar Street at 8:04 a.m. Thursday. The reporting person advised someone slashed his tire overnight.

Deputies met with a Delaware City Police Department officer to take custody of Erick W. Scheiderer, 41, of Richwood for an outstanding arrest warrant at 12:57 a.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies responded to U.S. 33 near the westbound rest area to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2011 Ford Mustang that struck a deer at 3:51 a.m. Thursday.

A deputy met with a resident from the 18000 block of Cunningham Arbela Road to investigate identity theft involving an attempt to open an unauthorized credit card at 9:46 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy was sent to a residence on May Street in Magnetic Springs to investigate a vehicle break-in where a wallet containing cash and gift cards was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 10:53 a.m. Thursday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 9700 block of Harriott Road to investigate a domestic dispute between a mother and son at 11:08 a.m. Thursday.
