Police responded to a report of a dispute in the 200 block of W. Eighth Street at 1:31 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate MPD was called in reference to a loud noise disturbance.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 900 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 5:49 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate a Meijer employee advised that a male and female left the store without paying for merchandise.
Jeremy Andrew Wayne, 34, of Mobile, Alabama was arrested for assault in the 400 block of Allenby Drive at 4:08 p.m. Saturday.
Grant Criner, 20, of East Liberty was arrested for an open container, underage possession and consumption of alcohol and having physical control of a vehicle while under the influence in the 600 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 4:34 p.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of a suicide threat involving a juvenile in the 200 block of Cypress Drive at 7:40 p.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 800 block of Watermill Place at 10:26 p.m. Saturday.
Joshua Ryan Watson, 26, of North Lewisburg was cited for having physical control of a vehicle while under the influence on Delaware Avenue at 6:25 a.m. Sunday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from an incident in which Watson was found unconscious in his vehicle.
Addam Blue, 35, of Cottonwood Drive was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 400 block of Grove Street at 5:04 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate Blue was in possession of “a needle, tin foil and a pink straw.”
William Levan, 18, of West Liberty was cited for an open container, underage possession and consumption of alcohol and contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a child in the 700 block of E. Fifth Street at 11:09 p.m. Sunday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 2000 block of Belmont Drive at 5:54 a.m. Sunday. The reporting person advised his golf cart was stolen overnight.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy checked a suspicious vehicle parked at the Allen Township Community Center in the 16000 block of Allen Center Road at 2:31 a.m. Friday. After further investigation, the driver, Michael L. Britton, 27, of Troy was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy was sent to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Dejuan M. Hutson, 30, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 9:38 a.m. Friday. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department, Washington Township Fire Department, Pleasant Valley Fire District and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to U.S. 33 near Mitchell Dewitt Road for an injury crash involving a 2020 Kia Sorento and a 2015 Nissan Rouge at 9:56 a.m. Friday. The State Patrol investigated the crash.
A deputy responded to Route 347 near Route 31 for a property damage crash involving a 1993 Kenworth dump truck that struck an unknown semi-truck that failed to yield and then left the scene at 10:06 a.m. Friday.
A deputy was sent to a business in the 15000 block of Smart Cole Road to investigate a trespassing complaint at 11:08 a.m. Friday.
A deputy and units from the Allen Township Fire Department responded to the intersection of Route 739 and the U.S. 33 westbound off-ramp for an injury crash involving a 2011 Honda Civic that was struck by a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado at 3:27 p.m. Friday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. The driver of the Honda, Dalton I. Daniel, 18, of Springfield was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield at a stop sign.
A deputy and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department and the Washington Township Fire Department responded to the intersection of Hyland Croy Road and Park Mill Drive for an injury crash involving a 2010 Ford F-150 that struck a 2014 Honda Accord. The driver of the Ford, Narciso C. Vasquez, 30, of Columbus was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail. One victim was transported to Dublin Methodist Hospital.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 27000 block of Ford Reed Road to investigate threatening text messages at 5:21 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was sent to a residence on Greenfield Drive in Milford Center for an unruly juvenile at 5:23 p.m. Friday.
A deputy investigated a dispute between a vehicle owner and a tow company involving damage to a mirror on a 2017 Dodge Durango that occurred on Hyland Croy Road near Park Mill Road at 7:24 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence on South Main Street in Magnetic Springs to investigate credit card fraud involving a computer scam at 8:22 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 22000 block of Holycross Epps Road to investigate unwanted text messages at 9:07 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 13000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate the theft of a wallet from an unlocked vehicle at 9:24 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 12000 block of Taylor Road to investigate identity theft involving fraudulently obtained credit accounts at 10:13 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy responded to the intersection of Hyland Croy Road and Post Road for a property damage crash involving a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu that struck the back of a 2011 Toyota Camry at 11:52 a.m. Saturday. The driver of the Chevrolet, Christopher L. Anderson, 29, of Columbus was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 for a dog bite at 12:41 p.m. Saturday. The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 13000 block of U.S. 36 to take custody of a suitcase that was found in a driveway at 1:07 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy investigated threatening telephone calls that were received at a residence in the 8000 block of Homer Road at 3:09 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy was dispatched to the 16000 block of Robinson Road to investigate juveniles racing vehicles on the roadway at 6:03 p.m. Saturday.
While investigating a driving complaint on Liberty West Road, a deputy stopped a 2012 Ford Focus and arrested the juvenile driver for operating a vehicle while under the influence at 8:52 p.m. Saturday. The juvenile was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
